Great Little Laptop...Except for the webcam

Overall for an entry level 11.6" laptop you are in good hands here. The keyboard has a nice feel to it. It is cute, white, light, has a 180 degree hinge, great battery life and a bright screen with a matte finish. Sort of reminds me of a MacBook Air. The display is HD. It also has a shiny, silver power button which gives it kind of an upscale finish. The 1.6GHz Celeron Dual Core N3060 Processor is good for minimal multitasking. I would recommend this for web browsing and your basic office suite and some light web streaming. YouTube and Netflix in HD play smooth. Anything like video editing is not suited for this laptop. I ended up returning it and going for the 14" ideapad, however. The webcam on this one was standard def, and by 2017 standards, sub-standard. Very grainy and pixelated at 640x360. I read another review on here about the poor quality webcam before purchasing it, but didn't think it would be that big a deal. I wasn't able to test the webcam before I bought it because the in-store display's cursor was not functioning. I should've listened to that reviewer. After coming home and trying out the webcam, then going back in store to try the 14" which has an HD 1280/720p more modern webcam, I decided to return the 110s and go with the 100s. Plus, the 100s IBR is bigger, the wifi is ac so it's faster and it has an HD webcam. Worth the few extra bucks in my opinion. This is a great laptop if you are doing basic things and don't care about a webcam. If you care about the webcam, go with the 14". Also, battery life was great. It lasted about 9 hours on a full charge at 40% display brightness. I really liked the matte display, too. But, that webcam...

For the price you pay for this laptop it is great value. It does not pack a huge punch in terms of hardware but it is great for surfing the internet. I am able to have about 20 tabs open with YouTube running with very few problems. Eventually you will run out of memory and it will prompt you to close the program. I have only had onc incident in which it froze on me and that was just recently in September and I bought it in April.

Light and portable, but limited in memory which poses a problem when trying to store data. It has a slot for memory expansion which is helpful, but trying to run programs is still challenging. Speed is slower than most laptops, but you have to spend a lot more to get a faster processor. So for basic uses, it is fine. Probably one of the best of this genre.

I only needed an inexpensive laptop to run my Power Point flash drive presentations on the road. I speak at Lifelong Learning classes and library venues. They always provide a projector I can hook into with this laptop. It's also handy for other basics like checking email and the Internet. For under $200, it's been a great deal for me.

Bought this for my daughter because it had such great ratings, and I immediately regretted it. The computer is SO slow. I literally spent 5 minutes just trying to print an email. It only has 2gb of memory, but also has Windows 10 which I was informed requires at least 6gb of memory to run properly. This one got returned to the store.

I didn't have high expectations for a laptop that retails for just under $200. I bought mine on sale for about $120, so my risk was minimal. I was looking for an inexpensive backup laptop for our family to use for web browsing, email and photo storage. The battery life is awesome. The keyboard seems a bit flimsy, the entire thing bouncing a bit with each keystroke. It's not bad for basic browsing and email, but has some lagging and non-response issues when using Facebook or other websites that are heavy on ads or auto-running videos. It also likes to disconnect from the wifi for a minute or two at random times. I'd recommend this as an affordable backup or for the kids to use, but I wouldn't rely on it as your sole laptop if you enjoy streaming or need it for work.

I had an accident with my previous laptop. It was an emergency, because I was in the middle of a homework assignment and under a deadline to complete it. so I made a mad dash for best buy. this has turned out to be the best purchase I have made in a while. my only issue is not having much storage space but that too is an easy fix.

This laptop is great for what it was made for..... Basic web, media, Documents, with no signs on lag. Keep in mind these laptops are not for storage but if needed, recommend cloud storage or HC Micro SD card. Laptop has hdmi and USB 3.0 with Bluetooth and wireless projection to select TVs or cast devices. No CD drive being a cloud base device or touch screen. Really light wait and nice to carry.
