I got this as a gift for someone but after only 10 months the touch screen stopped working and the battery dies really fast. And it has some other issues I don’t recommend this as a gift option.

I recently bought the Lenovo Ideapad 1i 15.6" FHD Touchscreen Laptop with an Intel Core i3-1215U and 8GB of RAM, and it's been great for everyday use. The 15.6-inch Full HD touchscreen is sharp and responsive, making it perfect for browsing, streaming, and light work. The performance with the Intel Core i3 processor is good for everyday tasks, like multitasking and using office apps. With 8GB of RAM, it runs smoothly without lag. Overall, it's a solid and affordable laptop for anyone looking for something reliable for basic computing needs.

Started off a little negative with this review, but as I started writing I realized That I got exactly what I thought I wanted and had to start over. It's lite, compact, powerful enough for web based applications. I can even play GTA 5 legacy at 30fps ( I added 8GB of ram I had on hand). Now with 16 GB I think have all the ram I can reasonably use with the i3 cpu and integrated graphics. This is a huge improvement over my old laptop (it made the ultimate sacrifice when I slipped on ice and fell on it) but I'm kinda wanting more. The problem is that there is such a huge disparity in price to make the step up. So for me it's a compromise I didn't spend too much but I didn't get my wish list. If your sending your kid off to college, your probably better off to take the next step or two up. Want a computer Stream netflix or for mom chat with the grand kids on the web and play online poker this is your lap top.

I like that it is light enough to take with me, it's compact enough to fit in my shoulder bag but powerful enough to meet all of my needs. I like the thin lightweight feel. I’ve had this laptop about 6 months had to upgrade from the Chromebook version of this laptop to the windows and my my what a difference!! It works just as good as it did when I first got it. I love that I can do multiple things at once and the fact that it’s touchscreen is a plus for me being that I’m in college I can focus on certain details without delay. I will say being that it is touchscreen, the battery life isn’t as strong but it’s a good compromise for me. The display/resolution is also very good as well, no grainy or distorted look to the screen. I have a Samsung tablet and they talk to each other.. I can connect them both to one another without any issue, a bit of a bonus screen.. Speakers are good, but I typically use my headphones or a speaker when listening to my laptop. Overall, I love this product, will most definitely recommend this to a college student or student period, works amazing for when I need to do my assignments especially for lockdown browser, it’s efficient.. amazing quality I give it a 9.7 out of 10.. just because of the battery life but everything else is amazing.

Awesome laptop for the price. Its pretty fast and touch screen works great. Display is amazing for the price and i love the big screen. Very happy.

Perfect laptop for my needs. I use Microsoft Office for Word documents and Excel spreadsheets. Fast internet using chrome for searching and accessing various email accounts. I use zoom virtual meetings. I don’t see much difference in windows 11 from 10. I added an external speaker because the built in speaker volume is too low at 100%. I also purchased an inexpensive cd reader to use if needed. Overall very satisfied with speed, battery, keyboard, memory and storage.

Absolutely love this computer. It does what I need it to do. Its not slow and i love that its touch screen aswell. Super easy to set up and was not crazy in the pocket. Definitely recommended for college students

This economical laptop has it all. It has a superior screen compared to most newer laptops. The screen is FULL HD 1920x1080 resolution (equivalent of Blu-ray) while similar laptops only offer LOWER quality HD or HD+. Also, the IPS screen gives vivid colors and contrast with deep black compared to inferior TN screens offering weak gray for black. The Intel Core i3-1215U CPU and 256GB SSD are both reasonably fast. This is an ideal everyday laptop for typical Internet and email users. This initially ships in Windows 11 "S mode" limiting program installations to the Microsoft store app. I recommend buyers follow Microsoft instructions to switch out of "S mode" for normal Windows 11 home so any programs may be easily installed. A great buy!
