At $400, a Value Laptop for Medium Duty....
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Idea Pad 3 / Intel i5 processor / Intel Iris graphics 15.6" touch screen Owned and operated daily for 15 mos. Cons : 1. Not the best color rendition , but good 2. Extremely sensitive to touch with wet hands, or of course, to spills. Not water resistant, let alone waterproof. 3. Charger is 3x3x1, and the plug into the laptop is a 2.5mm , not 3.5. I'm always nervous about that. Pros : 1. Has all the speed needed for a home office accountant, who also is addicted to You Tube , sports channels , and weekend movies on several channels. 2. Has good brightness , good (not great) color. 3. Battery-only life is 3-4 hours streaming video 4. Can run You Tube, Fubo, Ebay, and a spreadsheet simultaneously, but sound will only be from one , so you need to turn off old app , and then on at new app .

New Laptop

The new unit (a Lenovo) is super quick and is saving me lots of time and aggravation. I wish I had done this sooner. The initial setup was relatively painless, but at this point I have not used all of the features. We should redo this review 6 months from now. Hope it would be just as good.

Excellent computer

I do wish the battery life were longer but it will go all day for my work unless I have a zoom call. It doesn’t get hot at all. Screen is very clear and sound is great. A great buy at half the price of a MacBook.
