Imagine my delight when I turned my new Lenovo computer on and it worked! Woohoo! It's exactly what I needed since all three of my others failed! They were good in the beginning, too, but now they are failures and I have a new "favorite!" and it was very inexpensive since I got the black Friday deal! I've now reached the limit of my useful information, but this machine really does everything that I want it to.

I tried an HP but the keys felt cheap, and this one, while still a budget-minded laptop, it feels higher quality. Stick with an i5 or higher. 8 GB memory is fine for most basic computing. Chances are if you need more memory for what you are doing you will need higher end equipment overall, so for folks just wanting a good solid machine this one is a good choice.

I needed a laptop to manage the website and emails for a club that I was elected as secretary of. I didn't want to spend a lot since this is a volunteer position but, I needed something that would be efficient and able to handle the workload. This does the trick. The memory and storage are perfect and it doesn't bog down when I have mulitple window open.

Excellent laptop for the sale price. Sleek color and design. Display is beautiful—clear HD and matte make it easy to look at for long periods of time with no glare or awkward viewing angles. 8GB of RAM makes it a little on the slower side but overall runs very smoothly due to the strong processor. Looked for ages for the perfect budget school and work laptop and this is it!

I bought this for salesperson at work and have been pretty impressed, its quick, screen is very clear and its easy to use for some people that might not be as computer literate as some others. The touchscreen is kind of pointless in my opinion, but different strokes for different folks.

Love it. It is perfect for what I needed it for. A backup pc. It was reasonably priced. I haven't had any issues. The touch screen is great and numeric pad awesome for accounting. I wish it had more memory like 1TB. SInce Microsoft updates take up most. Better than a broken cromosone chrome book

My son mostly uses it for schoolwork & Minecraft. It gets the job done.

Bought for my wife as a gift. She loves it. Likes the touchscreen and ease of initial setup. Only minor complaints, keyboard not backlit, McAfee preinstalled is a no, but it included a Norton with lifelock free 6 months so she switched to it, touchpad is not great (bought a mouse and wireless keyboard anyway so no big deal. Overall a very good deal. If there was a way to do 4.5 stars, that would have been more accurate.

For me I'm very happy with the performance and speed. I'm not a gamer so I can't speak to the computer in that respect. Streaming movies, boot time, running programs and documents are a breeze and are really all I use this or any other laptop for. Would purchase again.

I got this laptop because my Macbook wasn’t able to use Excel or Powerpoint and I needed them for my college classes. One benefit I didn’t even think about was the fact that Steam games work on this! The fan can get a little loud if you use it for long enough but overall it’s a great laptop. I would recommend this to all incoming college freshman

This is my second Lenovo IdeaPad. The only reason I replaced the first one was that I can't upgrade to Windows 11 on it. For my use, this is ideal - recording recipes for a radio show, creating documents, e-mail, casual gaming, Community College use. I would definitely recommend it!

I've had it for a few weeks and it works very well so far. My last computer was also a Lenovo so this was an upgrade. It was on sale and a real bargain. I will stick with this brand in the future. I prefer the style of the keyboard compared to other keyboards.
