Other than that it hasn't been to bad of a Laptop. Been a Lenovo fan for years.

Only gripe is that the everything defualts to the 128 GB ssd drive and is the main C drive. Which makes things awful and a big mess and waste of time when installing external file managers like dropbox and amazon photos and it starts downloading to the wrong one, then crashes your computer because you are out of space, then deleting and moving everything to the 1tb drive messes files up that you cant delete... Ive seen others comment on that issue too. Just watch out.

This is a mid-level, moderate use configuration, with its AMD Ryzen 7 3700U processor. This 4-Core/8-Thread processor has a base speed of 2.3GHz and a boost speed of up to 4.0GHz. This configuration has 12GB of DDR4-2400MHz RAM a 1TB mechanical hard drive and a 128GB solid state hard drive. It is good with Microsoft Office type programs, internet browsing and other moderate work. This model ships with Windows 10 S-Mode Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost.

Windows 10 is a piece of junk. I cannot got anything loaded including my email. So far I only been able to get the internet to work. The directions are non existent. I have worked on windows for years. Every upgrade has gotten worse and worse. Looking for my last windows disk to re-upload that version. Sure hope I can find it. Otherwise I am screwed.

In particular the battery provides more hours than expected before recharging. Reasonably good display. Plenty of storage. I like AMD's chip array in this unit.

My 2nd Lenovo

Fast bootup, no lagging or freezing. I wasn't sure how I would feel about having Alex on it but I really do like it. The great price was a bonus.

I was excited to use this laptop but while I was trying everything out on it I found out that the speakers were going out. At any level of volume, the speakers crackle and pop so I took it in to exchange it.
