Great Little Computer

No issues browsing the internet, also fast there. Battery does not last as long as I thought or want since I am on the computer a lot. The charger that comes with it isn't really long enough for me to work off of charge power. I think it takes around 30 minutes to get a full charge. If you want to browse the internet, watch videos, write, it's a good computer for you.

To maximize battery life, first adjust your battery saver settings. Next, to maximize battery life, be sure there are no unwanted programs running in the background, draining the battery. Here is a link to some tips for finding out what is draining your battery:

Huge Memory for the Price

The HP was 8 years old and still had a lot of life left, but the frame split open. There were exposed wires and the display had a black corner. Purchased the Lenovo on 02/14/19. So far I like every feature. I'm not a techy, The speed is excellent for me. I love the larger display. It is very sharp and color saturated. It has a lot of memory for me to store pictures and documents. It's a little lighter than the HP. Will carry it with me on road trips. Best Buy Geek Squad gives excellent service.

2 year life span and not worth it

Its onky 2 years old and I cant use it unless it is plugged in, becaude even when it shows half a battery it will just shut off, and keeps overheating now, thd plug and the laptop both get very hot. I only use the laptop for about 5 to 6 hours a day for work. I keep it up to date anf i dont keep any files on the computer as I have found in past using too much space can slow down the computer so my docs are on external drives and storage clouds. So I know its not happening due to anything Ive done. Im homeless now since covid, i cannot afford to get another laptop and this should not be happening to the computer at 2 years old for the cost.

Battery capacity is disappointing. Applications requiring continuous processing, such as video conferencing with Zoom or MS Teams over a WiFi link, greatly reduces usable time before requiring plugging in and charging.

The silver laptop had a minor scratch on the front which kind of created a disappointment but I wouldn’t exchange it just for the minor scratch. The overall set up took about two hours because the windows 10 was not upgraded to 1809 version. I think I will recommend this laptop for college students

All Lenovo computers are visually inspected for defects and blemishes before boxing at the factory. Be sure you have received new product. The version of Windows 10 on the computer is the newest available at the time of factory installation. Microsoft may release updates after the computer is manufactured. Windows 10 will automatically update to the latest version upon initial activation of Windows 10 by the owner.
