My son is a computer guru. I told him that i didn't need all the frill of a high tech computer. He pointed this one out and for what i am getting based on the price was a no brainer. The screen is large enough to sit back and stil hey all the details about whats happening. It does have the battery life normal for a laptop so make sure you have your charger if you go anywhere.

The screen is a little too small for my wife. If you're used to a larger, 17", screen this may be too small. Unfortunately I had to return it since it would be hers. I can't advise on the battery life as we only used it short time.
