I bought this for my daughter and it was perfect for her

I've had nothing but trouble from this Lenovo laptop.

my sister loved it. i bought and returned 3 times ..according to lenova 2 had bad wifi cards..1 just quit working completely..thank goodness within 15 day time frame.. returned and went back to toshiba..

Overall I am quite pleased with this laptop. It is fast, plenty of memory, and a full 10880 HD display. Quite light for its size, don't expect the lightness of a Surface Book or SP4, but then again this is a fraction of their price. My only gripes is the lack of a back-lit keyboard, kind of a sharp edge around the keyboard area that can be annoying depending upon how you are sitting while using the computer. Lastly the battery life is not really great, only aboujt 3 hours unless you turn on Battery Save in Windows 10. I can understand this as the machine packs a quad-core CPU. It runs all my applications great, including Word, Excel, Quicken plus a bunch of games that I couldn't play on my previous computer which had a puny Intel dual core processor.

This thing is a big piece of c rap. It restarts on its own constantly usueally every few minutes but I can use it up to an hour without restarting. Not sure if it is Windows 10 or the actual machine. After hours of research, seems to be a problem with the WiFi adapter. I've updated the driver and traded my bluetooth mouse in for an old fashioned wired one which seems to have solved the problem.

I bought this laptop to gift to my close friend and the way it is working is amazing.. my friend liked this a lot.

I am not very satisfied with this product. I purchased it a year ago and I still kicking my self. It's processor is too slow and takes a while to save documents. I have lost very important information because I had to factory reset it. It is my worst experience with a laptop ever

Before purchasing I looked at the reviews and at that time they weren't all that good. Complaints were that this computer was slow and had problems connecting with the wireless. I went to the store and spoke with a geek squad member. Of all the computers he showed me with-in my price range I liked the lenovo the best. I asked him about the problems others reported and he said if I didn't like it once I got it home I could return it. I bought it, took it home, and began the startup process. For whatever reasons it took several hours, and a couple of tries to get the updates installed. It started to seem like the negative reviews were right on as far as being extremely slow. Once I finally got the latest version of Windows 10 installed the change was dramatic. The computer is plenty fast for what I do, i.e. email, youtube video, web surfing, and some midi music programming. I am still fighting with the bluetooth connection. But that may be my own fault in running a registry cleanup program as one of my attempts to get the speed increased. As a plus I found that the price of the computer was reduced after I bought it and since I was still within the "price match" period I went to BestBuy and without any hassle they refunded the difference to me. Oh, the sound on this is very good. It isn't sound bar quality but pretty close.

I have been told that the mother board is dead. I am retired and only used it an average of one day a week. Will never buy another one.

I bought this for my son a few weeks ago and so far the computer works great. I noticed in other reviews some were not able to connect to wifi or had slow browser connection, I haven't experienced any of that. I didn't want to spend too much and I thought it was a great price for a disc drive, 8G, 1TB and A10 specs. It's not a gaming computer but my son is able to play Call Of Duty Black Ops 3 and he is satisfied with it. The laptop looks nice, it's light, the audio sounds great, it runs great and it was easy set up.

This is a good computer for the price. I opened edge with all of the computers on display under $600 and it was hands down the fastest. One of those was an i7. A10, 8G ram, 1T, Dolby, and disc drive for $400 = good deal. This computer is sturdier than I expected, but leaves a little to be desired (screen flex). If you want an equivalent ThinkPad (sturdier), you are going to have to pay for it. Buy it, use it for a few years, and then upgrade again. You still haven't spent a thousand dollars. That's my take on it.
