Small but powerful and well built

The stand is very sturdy and doesn't move around when your using it on your lap. The processing is very fast so loading time is minimal on startup. For the price its unbeatable.

Plenty of storage and features and options that make it great on the go or at home device. Allows you to use your phone as a secure wifi hotspot for on-the-go applications. 8gb RAM 128gb SSD is the way to go.

Regarding using Microsoft, if you're referring to Office, You can access your Microsoft 365 applications and content via the Chrome browser or download the Office apps as PWAs (progressive web app). Love being able to remove the key board and have it as tablet only. Only thing i dont like is the keyboard is not solid make using it on my lap hard without a tray or some support

The screen is near perfect. Quick enough to remote home to run my Mac. I personally appreciate the ever improving Chrome OS. Bought it at the sale price which was about $100 off. This was a deal+.

Perfect for a student

This is light and does everything she needs it to. I bought a hard sided laptop sleeve for it, that way it survives going in backpacks and up/down stairs in a busy school.

I bought a pen for it and it's great to take notes. ChromeOS is not very friendly with Microsoft products. If you can get away with just using Google software, then you will love this machine.

Its pretty quick & for what we use it for - looking at game-cam pictures - is great. My only issue is that it seems theres a background screen, & as a windows user, i want program icons, there. If it can be done, i havent figured it out yet. This is my first tablet thats not a Dell or Samsung.

While you can't place an APP shortcut icon on the Chromebook Desktop, you can place shortcuts on the Chromebook Tray at the bottom of the desktop screen.
