Customers are saying

Customers commend the Ideapad Gaming 3 for its strong performance, especially in gaming, and its upgradable RAM, making it a good value for the price. However, some users point to shortcomings in battery life and storage capacity as areas for improvement. The screen brightness and potential overheating issues were also noted as concerns by a few customers. While generally considered easy to use, some users suggest considering upgrades to the power supply and storage for optimal performance.

Got this Laptop for $300 using Special Bonus Offer

Just got this laptop for $300! I highly recommend looking for a special credit card offer where you get cash back. I had to buy this laptop anyway, so when I signed up for a QuickSilver credit card I got approved immediately and got a $300 cash back sign up bonus when I spend $500 or more in the first 3 months. Not only that but when this laptop was at $549 for Black Friday I missed out because my credit card hadn't arrived yet and then the price went up to $899 when my credit card got to my house. Now that it went back down to $599 I bought it immediately and picked it up at my local Best Buy the same day! Now I just need to get either 2 16gb sticks or 1 more 8gb stick and up the SSD to 1TB So basically I got this laptop for around $400 after beefing it up. Another thing I think is important to note is I've looked at all the $500-$600 laptops for gaming with the best specs and there is a Gigabyte one for $549 right now that competes with this one, however, the Lenovo Ideapad has the best thermals out of all the laptops. And we all know how important thermals are for gaming so I also think this one is the best bang for your buck. Pictured below I have my old laptop which was a Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th Generation. It was strictly for my business. Pictured on the right is the new Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 which can handle all my business work and any game out in the market! Best of both worlds. Merry Christmas!

Needed a new computer for school! Best bang for my buck. The keyboard is a little off compared to what I’m used to. Battery life could be better but not terrible.

Very impressed with the speed, clarity and quality of my new Lenovo laptop. My wife is a Court Reporter and told me that Lenovo is the choice of Court Reporters across the U.S. and considering their jobs, that says a lot.

Great laptop for price once I added 8gb ram to second slot. One star off for not including nvme stand off. Literally can't install 2280 without standoff. Had to fabricate one.

I bought mine open boxed that was "inspected" by geek squad. The laptop was clearly taken apart and put back together wrong. Had 2 missing screws, broken tabs and the touchpad was lifting... After I fixed those issues I added a 1TB SSD and another 8GB of DDR4 3200 MHZ. CONS: FINGERPRINTS, Small SSD 256GB 4GB GPU and not 6 or 8 Pros: Nice keyboard Bright display with fast refresh rate light up keyboard Has a dedicated GPU
