A great entry level gaming laptop. It runs really well and has been able to handle the games I've tried. Word of warning it does have 8Gb of ram but 2Gb are locked off for hardware use for the APU. If you need more ram look elsewhere or be prepared to upgrade.

The speed of the laptop is nice and the size of it is acceptable for the price. Definitely recommend it for someone who wants to get into laptop gaming. I use it when I leave out of town to work. Plays an assortment of games at decent level frames.

I was skeptic when I first saw this one. Between the price and specs I wasn't sure if it was worth it. When I initially purchased this, I was pleasantly surprised by some of it's capability and design. Howeverm a few things gave red flag. 1. The BATTERY WAS TERRIBLE! I have another smaller less powerful lenovo that seemed to have a better battery and is almost 2 years old. I was extremely disappointed with that. 2. Screen was pretty basic. 3. Not as capable of efficient gaming than I hoped. I assumed I would be able to run at least most general games nicely but this seems very much suited for someone who does either light gaming or a young child. I decided to return it since it just wasn't worth it to me.

It’s a fine machine for the money if you’re going to have it plugged in 24/7 , alright Gpu and Alright refresh rate could use better brightness, as any more budget Gaming laptop the plastic is flexible but im fine with that, the major downfall for me was that it pained me to see the battery drain when unplugged, I’m a student and want an alright battery life to do work on the go then slack off, I should’ve stuck to my guns and got an omen like I said and I will but lenovo still does a good job for price to performance.

This Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Gaming Laptop, model number 82K200USUS, ships with a Integrated 45Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this model configuration, has a battery life of up to 5 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686. Lenovo

Bought this for my 10 year old gamer boy. I'm in IT and standard, new laptops that are good for almost all my clients, do not cut it for his gaming needs. This laptop keeps up with Fortnight and other games. He's happy with it (whew). However, one main concern is the keyboard. After one day of use, the right arrow key is already tweaked a bit. Since this is a key that is used constantly while gaming, I will be returning this laptop and looking for a gaming laptop with a more durable keyboard. Kind of a bummer that I'm going to have to return this just because of the keyboard. I've read other reviews where people complain about the quality of the keyboard as well. Other than that, it's a perfect inexpensive gaming laptop for a very smart kid that does a lot of gaming. Also, not sure about the battery life. During a road trip in only lasted about 1.5 hours. Granted, he was gaming and probably didn't have saving power options on. I wouldn't even care about the battery but the keyboard is a deal breaker, unfortunately.

Great laptop for the price. I upgraded to 16gb of ram super easily. Battery doesn’t last long but I don’t expect it to in a gaming laptop. The touch pad is not amazing but wireless mice exist for a reason, and I don’t use the pad for much other than browsing so It’s fine.

An absolutely amazing laptop. I bought this for my boyfriend because he recently got into games on the computer. It runs everything so fast. He can have 10000 tabs open and still run his games fine. Yes the battery is not the best but it is still a great computer, Thinking about getting myself one :D

This is probably the best gaming laptop that you can get for the money. It play games at 1080p and runs cool doing it. If you are like me an do actual work on it as well; it is a productivity beast once you add another 8gb stick of RAM. Enjoy your search!

It’s fast and can handle all of my game files and still let me use internet at the best speed. Very simple to use and great picture too. If you are going to use it for an extended period on gaming you’re going to want to have it plugged in though.
