A: Yes. It has two slots available. Current stick in is an 8gb Samsung 3200mhz. Added a matching stick from crucial for $37 easily. It’s easy to crack open and add. Memory is under a heat shield in the center of the mobo.

A: It's not that hard to upgrade the ram. You open the laptop then remove the aluminum shield over it carefully and replace either one or both of the RAM chips
