First of all I am a developer so since I'm using a lot of resources I can say that It is a very capable laptop , doesn't lag , doesn't hesitate to do any task I throw at it but the only bad thing is the 8GB of RAM which is kinda bad but it is what it is I will be upgrading my RAM soon for the 16GB.

Good gaming laptop for anyone who what’s to play on performance alpha mode in fortnite it will get 120fps flat little hitches but you wouldn’t be able to tell. I recommend this product for any laptop gamer or pc gamer it is a good temporary system for anyone that can’t get a graphics card during this shortage.
Fortunately I got a evga 3060 oc out of pure luck form the manufacturer for 450$. But I still recommend this for gamers who like to be portable

The Laptop of My Nightmares (Don't Buy It!)

For more than six months I searched for an affordable, reliable, everyday laptop to use for graduate school. I finally decided to purchase the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 (Model: 82K200USUS/82K20003US) based on the reviews.
I regret my purchase every day.
I have owned my laptop for about four months, although I have used it about half of that time. I have experienced so many different problems that I am afraid to use it. Every time I think I have solved an issue and try placing some faith in to using the laptop again, an issue either re-occurs or something new happens.
The first issue, the random disappearance (and reappearance) of the Bluetooth/Network card drivers started two days after my return window with Best Buy ended. This issue has happened several times despite following all the troubleshooting steps from Lenovo’s website, including uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. In this pandemic, I rely heavily on the internet to complete my coursework and exams. I’ve experienced this issue at the worst times (e.g., while working on a group project, when trying to submit homework). At one point, the drivers vanished for about a week.
In addition, I continuously battle:
1) Shadows and other screen glitching. Watching the screen go black for a few seconds a couple of times while I was in the middle of taking a four-hour final exam online a few weeks ago did not appease my fears.
2) Blue Screen of Death while only using Microsoft Word.
3) Accessibility functions such as dictation do not consistently work. The keyboard is comfortable to type on, however, it is small, and I often hit the Caps Lock or Number Lock key by mistake; therefore, I activated the accessibility auto notification. The only time that option has ever functioned was when I had a second monitor (with no speakers) plugged into the laptop.
4) The battery dies within 1.5-2 hours while running small programs (e.g., Word), even with one program open at a time. According to Lenovo, the battery should last for 4.5 to 5 hours. I have never gotten that much time from the battery.
Whatever you do, avoid this laptop! I am so exhausted going back and forth between the laptop, my roommate’s desktop, and my iPad. I so desperately want to return the laptop to Best Buy and do what I should have from the beginning: buy a MacBook.

Works pretty good. Had an issue on first run. Had to turn off and restart and every now and then it does something glitchy but runs any game I want to play. My only real complaint is battery life while using is almost nonexistent. Has to stay plugged in.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad 3 15 Gaming Laptop, model number 82K20003US. This model ships with a Integrated 45Wh, Lithium-Polymer Battery, which within this model, has a battery life of up to 5 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Defiantly a great laptop if you can get it on sale, doesn't compare to the Lenovo legion line but well suited for someone just getting into gaming and productivity. Upgrading the RAM to 16gb would make this more usable for more modern games. All in all Lenovos budget gaming laptop is worth the money.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 15 Laptop. To determine if the device is compatible for games, we recommend you check with the game's software publisher's web site for their compatibility with Windows 64-bit (Chrome, Android) operating system and the minimum/recommended hardware requirements (Is a Graphics card required, the processor speed and the minimum required system RAM and the minimum available hard drive space) to run their program, then compare those requirements to this system's configuration.

Loved the power of the GPU for the price. But i had to exchange it due to the fact that it is a gaming laptop and the battery drains pretty quick. needed something for just movies for when i travel. If would have kept it if i wanted a gaming laptop.

For the price (especially on sale) this is a really excellent laptop. The first thing I'd like to mention is the screen. It's 1080p which is good for the price bracket, it's IPS for good viewing angles, and most importantly it's 120hz. Very few laptops at this pricepoint have 120hz (or higher) screens.
The Ryzen 5 processor is plenty for most users. 8gb of RAM should ideally be upgraded to 16gb, but it's enough for almost every scenario. 512gb SSD - it's only a SATA 3.5" SSD, but I can tell you the laptop generally feels extremely snappy and responsive (I have a high-end gaming desktop with m.2 PCIe SSDs and 32gb of 3600mhz RAM and this laptop literally feels as responsive as my desktop.)
The Nvidia 1650 GPU is basic but it's still far superior to any graphics provided by an APU so that's another win for this laptop.
The keyboard feels fantastic. I love that it includes a full numpad.
Oh, one last thing I LOVE about this laptop is that it has a beautiful, tasteful and CLEAN design that isn't about putting intakes or exhausts that look like they belong on a stealth bomber. The gaming-oriented cues are there but very subtle.
The main cons I can think of are the build quality is only so-so (not unexpected for the price), especially the touch pad which really feels cheap (functionally it seems fine, though.) The built-in speakers are mediocre. And lastly, the battery life is slightly below average - but again, acceptable for the price point IMHO.
