There are not many drawbacks. The charger is ridiculous though. The brick is very heavy and clunky, it will fall out of an outlet. Sometimes I experience audio pops listening to songs- they're not very frequent but they do happen. The graphics aren't as crispy as I thought they would be for what they advertise it as, but I am not bothered by it.

Good battery life. I'm a bit of a stickler for the traditional keyboard style so needed to change a bios setting for function keys to work properly and remap media (play, pause, rewind and ff) to work as home, end, pgup and pgdn using MS Powertoys. Lenovo Advantage program can be annoying and useless so I may uninstall it.

Good laptop for home use but sound is very poor

This is a very good laptop for a home use which has almost all the features. Everything comes in this as promised but the biggest let down is the speakers. This is not a very cheap laptop so I can’t expect the quality of speakers to be this bad. Overall a good laptop but sound is a big issue. If you are going to use this laptop with any other sound output then you can go for it. I would give this laptop 6.5 on 10

Fast, great screen, good speakers. One majors issue I've had is that out of the box the microphone seems to have trouble picking up two people. This has been an issure on zoom calls with my wife and I trying to both be part of a conversation. I did some research and this is a known issue. You will have to manually download new drivers and tweak some setting to correct it. Other than that, this is a good value.

If two people are talking at the same time, on the same end of the conversation, the noise-cancelling software mutes one of the voices it broadcasts to the other side of the conversation. You can easily avoid this clipping of one of the voices by having one party speaking at a time on the same side of the conversation.

Fast processor and SSD hard drive make it perfect to do normal school work and word processing on. The clear screen is great to stream movies or music on when you are not craming for an exam. Was going to buy another one but they have since discontinued this model. I recommend getting one if you can find it.
