  • Really good but may need manufacturer tweaks

    It’s beautiful and I’ve gotten many compliments. Compared to my last laptop (1060) it’s an amazing improvement but the graphics card had issues that required me to replace it within 60 days. Replacement also starting to experience some issues with ports recognizing USB devices. Reddit threads show similar issues with other users. Feels like there may be too much power for what it can push. Battery gets super hot. Considering exchanging again for a desktop.

Our goal is to offer the best user experience, and we are disappointed we missed the mark. We would like to work with you to help address some of your concerns.

      Firstly, we recommend running and installing all available drivers updates through Lenovo Vantage and Windows Update Settings, these updates are crucial to the device’s health and will affect the device’s power output and USB compatibility. To check for updates within Lenovo Vantage begin by launching the application, then select the “Check for updates” button on the top of the right-hand of the display. To check for Windows Updates, start by launching the Settings app, then selecting the Windows Update tab on the left-hand side of the page, finally select the “Check for updates’ button located in the top right of the page.

      Secondly, the Legion 7i allows you to change the computer’s thermal mode. This will allow your device to cycle between higher performance, quiet, or automatically adjust based on your needs. To start, launch the Lenovo Space app, Under the CPU and GPU Performance gauges you will find the option to toggle performance profiles. We suggest using Quiet mode which will lower the temperature of your Legion 7i when under load. You can also toggle thermal modes simply with the Fn+Q hotkey.

    I am an architecture student, this works great for my renderings and drawings. The cooling system is great , doesn’t get loud or unreasonably hot. The good thing about these is that the fans are on the back unlike Alienware that has them on the top. They get full of dirt and overheat quickly

    Almost perfect for what I use it for. It's a gorgeous laptop and it would have been perfect if it has a 5070ti instead of 5070. Other than that, it's got everything I'm looking for.
