The reason for only 3 stars is due to the fact that there is no ram overclock due to bios being locked, also all components are proprietary, not a good buy for someone that would want to upgrade parts in the future or change components. If your looking for a machine that preforms well out of the box that you don’t plan to tinker with this is a great machine if you plan to swap parts or make changes I suggest building your own or looking at other prebuilt options.

It was not as exciting as the ASUS ROG that I settled on and continue to use. Lenovo has a solid reputation and I have loved and admired the durability of their laptops for many years.

Just buy this if you have no plans to speed up your ram.

Generally, there are various ways to enable memory overclocking with Lenovo Legion systems, but the limiting factor here is not the system BIOS, but rather the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor. Believe me when I say I’ve tested every possibility, when playing a video game… the download and upload speed immediately drops to 0, no matter how strong your provider can be. I could play, but I couldn’t livestream at all. So annoying.
