Customer Ratings & Reviews

The laptop works perfectly and without any issues; I've been using it for school and for gaming, and I haven't had any problems at all. The only issue is that the fans can get loud at times (not very often), but other than that, it's very easy to use and perfect for everything.

This laptop runs everything really smoothly and nicely BUT the battery life can get extremely dicey sometimes as in it basically always needs to be plugged in in order to actually be able to use it, I was advised not to use the charger as much as well just to protect the battery life but i feel like that’s a little bit redundant if the battery is going to keep dying and or it gets extremely hot as well but it still gets the job done regardless so I mean overall worth it if you’re willing to deal with the battery life.

The laptop is very good. Games run smoothly, it's fast, and the cooling system handles the load well.

It’s a good laptop, only bad thing is the battery life but otherwise it’s amazing.

I love this product; the only issue is that the battery life is low

Purchased 2 weeks ago and pleased so far. Light gaming, large excel micro files, graphics, videos ... all without issue. Entry to mid-level but sufficient for my needs. Good value at the less than $1K price point at this point in time. Love the Lenovo keyboards and this is no exception. The 525GB storage is a negative, but a second slot is open for expanding. (Second slot open for expanding the 16GB memory also.) Fan noise can be a little loud at times but knew this upfront so not a surprise. Some compromise on the ports at this price point. HDMI is 2.1 which I intend to make use of. Only one USB-C (not Thunderbolt) so some limitations here but two USB-A. Lack of a MicroSD card slot is disappointing. Some compromises but overall, I consider a good value for the price based on my needs and preferences.

Amazing speed and display resolution. Battery life is good enough to use

Excellent battery life. Fast speed. Clear display.

Works perfectly for what I need, and will have all of the processing power that I need for GIS mapping for school. Plus, I got it with a good discount on sale. No complaints. But I’m no computer expert

I’m happy with this Lenovo LOQ gaming laptop. The 2K display looks sharp and vibrant, while the AMD Ryzen 7 CPU and RTX 5050 GPU provide plenty of performance for gaming, multitasking, and everyday use. The 16GB of memory is a good amount, and the 512GB storage is enough for getting started. My only complaint is the price—it feels a little expensive compared to last year Overall, though, it’s a solid gaming laptop with great performance and an excellent display.

Good performance and acceptable battery levelIt has good sound, great graphics.

If you are looking for a good deal on a laptop with upgradable memory and not much else, this is probably for you. Pros: - Keyboard is fantastic, Lenovo knows how to make a keyboard and it shows here. - Display is clear, bright, and without major weaknesses. - USB-C Charging - Solid Performance. Been using it for CAD and 3d Scanning workloads (Creality Otter) and its handled it great. Did some gaming as well. - Upgradable memory (Mine came with a single 16gb stick allowing for another 16gb stick to be added to upgrade to 32gb) - Solid enough build (Plastic but well designed, you aren't worried about breaking it carrying it around with one hand or anything like that but it isn't anywhere near a macbook or other quality built laptops) - Battery Life is good enough for a gaming laptop, it won't come close to the true battery life kings though. Cons - Fan Noise - When you are actually using it for its performance it is loud and annoying. When set to balanced power mode it isn't bad and when set to quiet it is impressive but when you need that GPU power you are going to hear it. It looks like it has two fans (and I'm sure it would on other models) this laptop only has 1 fan installed with the other vents blocked off. It's easy to block off the fan intake when it's sitting on your lap too. - Trackpad - It's plastic and honestly kind of meh. Sticky when you don't want, has a bit of movement/noise to it when you put your finger on it which ends up being annoying. Plan to use a mouse - Speakers - This is the weakest point of this laptop. Downward firing speakers with a hollow/cheap sound. Don't expect to use the speakers for much, they make noise I guess but I'm reaching for headphones. - Slow SSD - I haven't checked but I would assume this is a budget NVME drive without a dram cache. Installing programs and downloading games becomes SSD limited quickly. Using headphones and a mouse you don't hear the fans much and the crap speakers/trackpad aren't being used. To me that is a worthwhile compromise when you consider the price (I paid $999 on sale in the middle of the DRAM shortage and wouldn't pay much more honestly). At the $1500 base price look for a better deal elsewhere.

I like the speed and the lights on the kayboard , thank you .

I absolutely love it. I've had this for well over two weeks now and the results are amazing. I am able to use this for gaming and schoolwork! It can handle Minecraft wonderfully, both bedrock and java. And whenever I'm using my laptop for assignments in the library or lecture halls, it remains quiet! That is one thing I'm very happy about. It gets a little loud with videogames, but that's normal. However, with low performing tasks, it is extremely quiet. When it comes to graphics, it is amazing. I have not once experienced lag and the colors are great, nothing is dull. This laptop also has a matte screen! I prefer matte screens so glare can be avoided since my classes usually have overhead lights. 10/10 would recommend buying this for any college student, or teenagers who want to prepare before buying a PC.

I’m really happy with this Lenovo LOQ laptop! The processing speed is what stands out most to me, it feels fast and responsive. Very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a speedy laptop.

The good: Great performance for the price. The 5050 is surprisingly no slouch for the games I play, and the Ryzen 170 punches well above its weight. Lenovo's software is tolerable, and it was surprisingly not too bloated outside of the standard McAfee install, The bad: It may as well not have a battery, 3 hours on max efficiency mode while browsing Chrome. This thing runs HOT. Like sometimes concerningly so. Fans are loud, although no louder than other gaming laptops. But if you're plugged into the wall, and have this thing on a desk, it's a really good little laptop. Hard to beat the price too! Oh yeah and the second SSD slot is sized for full size SSDs and just doesn't have the standoff, nor can you move another standoff to the right position, which means you have to buy the more expensive laptop sized SSDs for no reason so good job on that Lenovo, way to anti-consumer.

Great value for computer, runs well. Only issue is that the fan is very loud compared to other models.

I purchased this laptop for my daughter, and it has exceeded both of our expectations. She absolutely loves it especially the fast computing power that lets her move between assignments, research, and online classes without any lag. The startup is quick, apps open instantly, and multitasking is smooth, which is exactly what she needs for her demanding workload. The build quality feels solid, the keyboard is comfortable for long study sessions, and the screen is crisp and bright. As a parent, I appreciate that it delivers reliable performance without any hiccups. It’s been a great investment in her education, and seeing how much she enjoys using it makes it even better. Highly recommended for students who need speed, reliability, and a laptop that can keep up with them.

Great laptop and are scale to game perfectly with lower quality settings. Good enough for the budget

love this computer i recommend to everyone for any time of gaming at a good price point
