Delivers great battery life and does all that it claims to do. Would appreciate a lighted character keyboard but it is a good value and appears to be well constructed.

I purchased this for my wife because she mainly plays some games and uses facebook. I felt this computer was less likely to get the malware and viruses that seem to be constantly bombarding those sites. Her previous computer was also a chrome book and until it was dropped, it performed up to expectations. Hopefully, this Lenovo version will function as well.

Know user's needs before buying Chromebook

We purchased this for our 8-year old daughter in early August. We wanted something that she could keep for a few years that would eventually serve as a school resource as well. I think the solid state drive provides us that assurance. It is extremely light and compact but still feels sturdy on your lap or while being carried (with the nifty strap available when the book is closed). The battery life is outstanding! We were used to having to charge a tablet every night. This Chromebook merely sips power so even by the end of the night we may not need to plug it in. Overall our daughter seems happy with the computer. School has just started so she has not needed it for anything other than simple internet use up to this point. This was our family's first Chromebook so there was a learning curve for everyone. The learning curve actually involves both good and bad items. On the good side, if you use an adult's Google account as the main account on the machine you can then set up a supervised user for your child. I would highly recommend this since if you allow your child to log in under your main Google account he/she can change your bookmarks and other Chrome settings. The supervised user account allows the parent to restrict access to certain web sites as well as monitor what web sites are accessed. If your child comes across a restricted page a button appears where he/she can request permission. Not exactly Big Brother, but Big Mother is not a bad thing these days. One of the less than ideal aspects of the supervised user account is the inability to install anything from the Chrome Store, even those extensions parents wouldn't have a problem with. This can be circumvented if you learn the website the Chrome Store app is accessing and then just set that page as a bookmark for your child. Another unfortunate deficiency of Chromebooks is the highly selective and extremely limited number of Chromebooks running Android apps. As of now there are only a handful of Chromebooks which can run Android apps and this Lenovo N22 is not (yet) one of them. According to the Chromium.org website, this model is on the list to be granted this ability in either late 2016 or early 2017. https://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-android-apps One thing I highly doubt will change is the inability to run Windows-based programs. While there are several USB ports to go along with the HDMI port, if the executable is built for Windows, it won't run on the Chromebook. Since Google is far more flexible than Windows, this should not be that big of an issue as long as you are not looking for this Lenovo N22 to replace a laptop.

This is a very good computer. One thing I did not notice was there is no CD drive. Never gave it much thought so this is the one thing that i will have to work through. Otherwise love the ease of use. The screen size is great it is very light and easy to handle.

I had read excellent reviews which is why I purchased it. But it would keep turning off every time I tried logging in the only way I could use it was as guest. Which didn't work or saved to my email. I will just go back and buy the Dell chromebook.

Should NOT be primary work computer.

By far the most frustrating "computer" I've ever owned. If you're prone to working with multiple tabs open (for me: Gmail, Google calendar, social media), expect to force restart multiple times a day. If you dare open a third or fourth tab, it will freeze. You'll need to force a restart. You'll lose anything not automatically saved. You may contemplate throwing it out of the nearest window. I would NOT recommend this as a primary workstation. For travel or surfing the web one tab at a time, go for it. It's absolutely not equipped for anything else.
