Also I ordered it online and did not get the chance to see it in store, the screen edges are not thin as it appears on the photo. There is a black edge all the way around it about a centimeter wide.

My other monitor, which is a 31.5 inch 2560x1440 Lenovo doesn't have this problem. I even tried a different cable but the same error message. Lenovo tech support not helpful. It is too late to return.

This monitor is QHD resolution through either an HDMI 1.4 version or a DisplayPort 1.2 version video source. Be sure your video source is compatible with this screen. Next, check your settings both the direct access settings as well as the On Screen Menu Settings. Next, try a different QHD video streaming source. See if you can display QHD video from a different source. Also using the favored QHD video source, try changing your screen resolution settings to a lower resolution, once again just to test compatibility. I liked everything about it except for the fixed height, but that's my fault - I should have checked the spec before I bought it. In November, unfortunately, the monitor would simply disconnect from the computer - it would show "No Signal" after working normally for few minutes. I replaced the HDMI cable, I tried a different laptop and I even tried with a different type of cable - no change. I contacted Lenovo - they asked for bunch of pictures and proof of the issue and only after being very thorough in checking if I'm truthful, they opened a ticket saying they would send me a new monitor. That was 2 months ago. I contacted them several times since, and still nothing. I spend more than an hour on the phone every time: they ask me if I sent them the pictures and the drivers license, what my email address is and another 100 stupid questions and confirmations... It end with their promise to follow up and escalate I need this monitor for work. They could have reimbursed me, or send me a different type of monitor - I would be ok with anything. Lenovo is not standing behind their product or their own warranty. Beware!

This monitor is NOT 1440p, it is 1080P. I don't know why QHD is even in the title of this product. This serves as a reminder to double-check the specifications on any monitor that your order to ensure that it is indeed the resolution that you are seeking. If you are looking for a 1080p monitor I guess this is okay.
