thought Lenovo would have been better than it turned out to be, guess it's about average, touch pad isn't worth having in my opinion, uncomfortable on my wrists along the edge, seems to be a sharp edge instead of rounded & smooth like other laptops I have had. I would have like to have seen this model in a store rather than on website before buying so I wouldn't have bought it but that's on me. Came with windows 10s, wasn't hard to opt out of it but feel like I should not have had to, s mode should be thrown away in my opinion. I use Chrome browser and for some reason I don't understand when I click the icon to open the browser it opens two browsers, irritating.

It has a nice thin Design and look to it. The key pad is just sensitive enough to not have to pound it,(this is probably a user problem) on the pad if you hit it the right way changes the zoom of the screen. It’s a little slow to start but it’s a great laptop for school and causal browsing, Netflix watching. All in all I enjoy it and it’s exactly what I was looking for.

It's ok but no 'PLAY STORE APP" listed so I do not like the Microsoft Play Store instead of Play Store app so i really need it so the some of games are different than my Play Store which does not have the ones that i have it is no listed in the Microsoft Play Store but overall is look different, I wish I could but the HP laptop that have Play Store, the problem is that the cost of HP Laptop is around between $1,000-$1,500, I couldn't afford that much.....Lenovo brand is around $275, that's why its really cheaper like this anyways, I'll be back to Best Buy soon to purchase new HP laptop but it's ok thats why I rate 3 for now til i get new one thank you

The Lenovo IdeaPad S145-15 laptop is a mid-level, moderate use configuration, with its AMD A6-9225 processor. This Dual-Core processor has a base speed of 2.6GHz and a boost speed of up to 3.0GHz. This configuration has 4GB of RAM. It is good with Microsoft Office type programs, internet browsing and other moderate work. This model ships with Windows 10 S-Mode Operating System. Windows 10 S-Mode provides added security by only allowing APPs available ( and therefore certified by Microsoft) at the Microsoft Store. If you don't need the added security or you need to install APPs not available at the Microsoft Store, you can switch to standard Windows 10 Home 64-bit Operating System, at no additional cost. Here is a link to instructions for switching from Windows 10 S-Mode to Windows 10 Home: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4456067/windows-10-switch-out-of-s-mode

The Laptop has come in handy due to the fact that my desktop was out of date and I needed something to get on the internet with. For the price it was great. There are some set backs, being able to hook up to the modeum and attaching other things to it may be a challenge. All and all it is a good buy.

Bought this computer for my 5 year old to use since the school system is all online. Computer was easy to setup and use. The only issue we have had is the battery life. It does not last more than two to four hours depending on what you are doing. We have only used the laptop for school work.

Really love my laptop, easy to follow instructions for setup, very light weight, good price for a very good piece of technology, I'm not very tech savvy but this one made it easy for me to learn and get where I needed to.
Best Buy made it easy to order and receive in these trying times.

It's an open box and picked it up yesterday at a Best Buy store 25 miles away. Just the laptop and didn't come with a charger. Set it up while parked at the store because I have Wifi in the car. It was easy to set up and I was up and running in no time. Good buy for less.

I got this laptop to finish up some classwork after my other laptop died. It does what I expected it to do. Battery life is so-so, a few hours. Screen size is average, it's light, easy to carry. It's a good computer for what I need it to do and the price was right.

Before purchasing this laptop I read the reviews. For the most part it was exactly what I was expecting. I needed a laptop because my old one is dying. I use this laptop for word processing, spreadsheets, and power points for work and school.
The body is light and it looks good, but it could be more durable. I feel like it may not last very long. It’s faster than I expected and stays pretty cool. The screen could be better, but I knew what I was getting for the price.
Overall I’m satisfied with this laptop. I would advise anyone thinking of purchasing this product to carefully consider your reasons for buying a new laptop.

It's a really nice sleek design, fits my hands well, has a really nice screen and works just fine for what I was using it for - to work from home. It's not as fast as my work computer, but this was a $300 laptop and my work computer was a $2,000 tower built to the 9s, so it's not surprising. Can't beat that price though.

Needed a laptop for my sons martial arts class during the shutdown due to the virus. He didn't have enough room to move as needed during class where my computer is located.
I looked at about a dozen different laptops and for what I needed and the value of this laptop fit the bill. I wasn't sure how long the Dojo would be closed and my son is special needs and truely enjoys his class.
There are faster laptops and I looked at those as well while shopping for one. But those were just more than what I wanted to invest in one. This one does exactly what I need it to do.

Purchased this laptop as a gift for our son who was starting college. It met our performance criteria in CPU speed and memory but we purchased additional memory to keep it usable into the future. It worked well for remote classes and homework but not for games, this was intentional. ;-)
