Google has way more options for games compared to Amazon. If you download too many apps the tablet may start running slowly. The battery also lasts less time compared to my fire tablet 10.

There are several differences from the previous Kindle Fire. Some of the differences don't bother me, while others do. But overall, it does the job I need it to do.

So slow!

I mean bad. It doesn’t have enough ram to operate efficiently and as such, it lags badly and has random crashes. This is not a software issue. It just wasn’t designed with today’s os requirements / program requirements in mind. I removed all the useless software and turned off unnecessary functions and it’s still really bad. Avoid it if you don’t want an expensive paperweight.

The wireless internet is a little slow. If you are using it for offline applications (which is what i wanted it for) it works fine. Some apps do not work properly on the device so be aware of that.
