Great budget tablet

They wanted something slightly larger than their phone to do simple tasks without dishing out the price for an iPad mini. Does the basics and at a great price too!

I used it for teaching to help keep track of work.

If you'd like to go back to the 3-button system navigation instead, you can. To access this setting, open the Settings app > scroll down to and select the Accessibility tab on the left menu > scroll down to and select the System controls tab > System navigation.

SD card slot makes up for 32 gigabytes internal storage. Put all my music on SD card. Nothing fancy but solid tablet. Great price.

I bought a Lenovo Tab a couple years ago, from Lenovo and it arrived without a working touch screen. Support was useless and the cost to me, to sit on the phone and harangue over "fault" is not worth my time or the cost of this device. That was then. This time, I figured I'd get the Tab from Best Buy. I got cheese with my purchase in case I have any issues this time. Let the Geeks sort it out. So far the Tab has worked. The only problem I've run into is when I choose to "reboot" from the power menu, it ALWAYS reboots in safe mode. Terribly annoying (submission censored and forced me to change some language (get bent Best Buy). Lenovo has been my goto for Laptops for over a decade with no complaints. I still own and operate all 4 devices. I guess their Tab division needs better leadership.

Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Tab M9. We apologize for the frustration that this may have caused you and we'd like to work with you to try to resolve this problem.
To start, we recommend checking for updates in Settings or the Lenovo Vantage app on your Tab. To do so, open Vantage and select 'System update' from the list of options on the homepage. If this does not resolve the issue, we then recommend restoring your device through Rescue Assistant. (https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/downloads/ds101291-rescue-and-smart-assistant-lmsa). This software can back up and restore your Tab to factory setting, which may resolve your software issues.

It is the perfect device for traveling and don't have the space to bring a laptop with you. The image quality is great, it has extendable storage via it's micro SD slot, and runs fairly quickly! You will not regret this purchase

Good Tablet for the buck

Performant for the Money

After reading reviews and comparing prices I settled on the Lenovo M9. Upon starting the device to currently I’ve been unable to make my son the user on his own account. I have also encountered issues with updating. However, after reading several Reddit responses I’ve been able to bypass the update and use the child profile. If you’re interested in something cheap and effective this tablet will suffice. However, once it gives out I think we’ll go back to Samsung or try Apple.
