No Android 12?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this tablet based on a response from Lenovo support on a different review that this tablet has an update for Android 12. It hasn't received a Android security update since May 2022 and no OTA Android 12 update available. Tried using Lenovo Smart Assist PC Utility and no option to upgrade there either. This tablet also doesn't use the stock launcher and wants you to grant permission access to the launcher they used. Normal bloatware but most can be uninstalled. I have factory reset the tablet and still no Android 12 update. Lenovo even list Android 12 update as being available since earlier in the year "TB-J616F Android 11 Android 12(Android S) 5/31/2022 Complete" and promises support and updates thru 11/1/2023 But it doesn't seem to be happening. Most likely will be returning this tablet if I cant find a solution by the weekened.

Posted .This Lenovo Tab P11 Tablet, model number ZA940077US, ships with Android 11.0 Operating System installed. It became available for the upgrade to Android 12.0 on 5/31/2022. It Froze Forever!

After weeks of searching, I was so hopeful and excited to get this model. I chose it based on brand, price and surprisingly Dolby Atmos support. It started off okay, but I couldn’t get it to operate the way I wanted. It was super sensitive, battery drains quickly, screen brightness was weird, and the os was somewhat unresponsive. I wanted to love it because it is beautiful. I found a matte screen protector that installed flawlessly and was going to just live with some of the performance flaws; however, I turned it on one day and it stayed stuck on the boot screen and unlike Apple products, I couldn’t shut it down. I literally had to just let it drain out on it’s own. It’s 2022 and this is just unacceptable quality, but I guess you get what you pay for. Glad I can return it.

Not working - garbage

What is worse is that when that issue was identified 20 days after the purchase best buy did not do anything to fix it. Stay away this is a piece of garbage.
