It's a gamble but I highly respect thinkpad and lenovo products so I figured it was a safe bet. The CD inserter is a bit busted and will just pop out randomly. The grease and wear down on the keys are definitely apparently. I wish they have just simply provided new keys instead of doing a poor job cleaning them. Everything on the software side works though so that is the good thing but it does not come with microsoft office which has become standard with new laptops. I wish it did.

Great fast price point lap top

The 8 gig of RAM with this processor does everything I needed. Home browsing, creating documents and organizing music and pics. Plus working from home several times a week. The slightly smaller size is convenient as well.
