sensational laptop, perfect to games and graphical editions, very fast, optimal brand

I bought my laptop at Best Buy's open box sale and my laptop was practically new. I saved a lot of money and got a great laptop. I love the red backlit keyboard.

Meets all of our needs. Minimizes games when certain buttons are pushed, and that is annoying. But that's a simple setting issue. No problems with so far.

This laptop was chosen as it seemed to have the most hp and was competitively priced. I also liked that it had the most video RAM of similarly priced models. Unfortunately, this laptop has been a constant source of frustration. The display driver constantly fails, causing a blank screen. I took it back within two weeks of purchase for repair, and was told it was fixed, but the issue continues. Taking it back to the geeks again on Monday for repair. AND ANOTHER THING. This laptop was iun the 2 in ! section, meaning it was both a laptop AND a tablet... WRONG! It is a laptop with a touch screen ONLY. The hinge does not allow it to open enough to user as a tablet!

I bought this machine after going to store to pick up an asus I had ordered. found this beauty for less money while being a better product! Love it

After reading reviews on quite a few brands I settled on Lenovo I bought this for my nephew to replace his 7 year old Dell. He uses it for gaming mostly . The Lenovo had all the things needed for game playing I liked the fact of the optical drive being external it helps to keep the.computer much cooler. I am very impressed with the overall preformance.

I use a computer everyday for work and find this computer to have excellent features and speed.

I read reviews before buying...I was tempted by the $150 off...right out of the box I was disappointed. The first thing I noticed was the "edge bleed" that other users complain about - the white on black "Lenovo" screen upon startup illustrates this failure. There are massive amounts of white light in PORTIONS of the screen (it isn't even uniform). The screen is very dull and I kept looking for a piece of plastic to peel off of it to make it better but there doesn't seem to be a film on it - just a dull finish. Finally, just as other users reported, even with brightness at 10 the screen is just BLAH. This has got to be the lowest definition HD screen I've ever seen. I'm taking it back to get the comparably priced, but better reviewed, HP laptop.

This laptop has it all. Fast processing, high end gfx card, and enough ram to super charge all your daily tasks. Great product!

This is my first brand new laptop I have had several used ones, being Apple and Dell and IBM. I am pleased with it very much.

I bought this laptop cheaper than the regular price because it was an open item. There are a few issues that I am dealing with right now. For example the screen goes dark out of sudden and it doesn't react with the mouse or the touchscreen. Sometimes I have to restart it or swipe the screen left to right to get all my windows in line in the center of the screen. When I click on the window that I was using before the screen went dark, it will happen again. So the only way to avoid the screen from going dark is to completely close that window. The good news is that the 4 gb graphics card is more than enough to run SolidWorks 2016 and the few games that I have played, run smoothly. The bad is the 8 gb memory ram, one would imagine for the high price of this laptop, that it would at least have 16 gb memory ram. Think about it, Intel Core i7, 4 GB GTX card, 1TB hard disk, why not 16 GB memory ram. It's like buying a 500 hp supercharged car, and only having 17" thin tires. You would be able to use all the power to its full potential. To me the touchscreen is cool, but pointless, this laptop does not fold into a tablet, so why need a touchscreen. I can't see myself ever really needing the touchscreen.

Has problems when using google chrome. Touch screen works sometime when using chrome.Read the forums. Reloaded software multiple times. Locks up in a business program I use. THE SAME PROGRAM USED FOR YEARS. Very frustrating.Slow starting up.When up, runs very fast.

This computer packs a punch after you replace the original hard drive with a solid state playing video games is really nice and it doesn't get hot like others and doesn't weight as much as the others also.

Purchased for my daughter as a replacement for an aging laptop. This one really flies and games run smooth with graphics setting on high. Games that would not play on her ild laptop, now run silky smooth. Fantastitic sound too! Recommended.

This is a great notebook for every use. The 960m graphics card handles most games at 1080p at good frame rates. The hi def touch screen is great , looks and responds well. The back lot keys are dimmable right off the keypad is nice and helps in the dark as designed. The weight is a bit heavy but light in comparison to most gaming laptops. Materials feel nice not cheap the gun metal brushed aluminum is fantastic. Have had the Intel graphics card get defaulted over nvidia but with some tweaking I had gotten it reset back. Hard drive is slow, ssd would have been waaaayy better but it's functional and only affect boot up for most part. The ddr4 is a great feature some laptops still using ddr3 so that's a plus. Overall love the purchase the price was excellent at $899 and it was great value would recommend and buy again.

Great portable gaming device. Has no issues playing GTA V, Just Cause 3, Skyrim, Fallout 3, NV, 4. I added RAM and SSD to speed things up but not required to have a good time with this box.
