This laptop is worth its price. Works perfectly in many occasions. Only cons are having a very slow processing system and the wifi card isn't 5G wifi compatible.

I was looking for a laptop/tablet that I can use for on the go work (my job is engineering research work) and something that is light weight. My other machine is an old dell vostro whose 9-cell battery feels almost as heavy as my new Lenovo Yoga. ;)
I knew going in that it won't serve all my needs (technical document editing, handling visualization software well like Tecplot etc.). For me, this is my first tablet and I was in no mood to buy a high-end (>$800) laptop right now. I decided on getting an 11 incher and then weighed lots and lots of options around $400 range. When I bought Yoga it was around $450 but I didn't mind because it seemed to be the best option I had in my range. I also wanted something with a decent keyboard and not just a display (I didn't like Surface, it felt like I would be paying for the brand more than anything else there).
So far, I like it. I've had no problems with it and it was easy to setup, and though not ultra fast, it runs very smoothly. If you are looking for an 11 incher, this is a great option to consider. I also love the flexible Yoga screen with 4 different modes. It came in more handy than I previously thought, and it's well designed. For e.g., in tablet mode it feels and behaves almost like, say, how a Surface would. It is light enough to hold in one hand and read articles, webpages etc., and the on screen keyboard is great.
I give it a 4* only because when I sit down to do my word documents with equations/figures and what not, it feels a little painful. You can still do it if you absolutely have to. Maybe I shouldn't expect that from an 11.6 inch screen, but I've worked on IBM thinkpads and they are definitely better in this regard. I think the screen has a little glare on Lenovo. It's not bad, but could have been better. The whole not feeling like doing my document editing on Lenovo yoga takes away 1 star definitely. I was looking forward to hammer out big reports on this little tablet.

The touchscreen function is flawless and does not disappoint. Pictures are vivid. May be a tad slow but stable. Only wish is that the keyboard detaches.

Purchased this 2n1 for our college student. He loves it for his classes, photoshop, and online gaming. There has been a problem with the "settings" in Windows 10 but that is a minor issue, possibly with Windows 10 and not the actual computer. It is lightweight, thin, good sound, great touchscreen. I would recommend for any college student.

Great Computer For Casual Use

I bought this computer for my wife for Christmas. She is has just started her graduate program and needed something to replace her worn-out Toshiba.
Overall, this is a pretty good computer for casual use. If you like to surf the web, and need to do some light school work, this computer is all you need. She uses it to stream online lectures, which it handles well. The 360 degree capability is also quite useful (I always thought "tent mode" looked stupid until I tried it for myself). The Pentium processor is faster than I expected (I have an i7 in my HP) and the touch screen works great!
The biggest issue that I have with this computer is the keyboard, which is harder to type on than most, and would make it hard for me to write papers, although she hasn't complained about it. It also has blue-screened several times, which is a major issue when you lose the work you haven't saved, but I believe this to be related to the Windows 8 OS incompatibility with certain software.

I absolutely love my yoga laptop! It may seem kind of small to some, but it works well for college students or people on the go since it is very compact and lightweight. I don't use it as a tablet very often, but it works great in that mode as well. For the doable price of about $500, it's probably one of the best 2 in 1's out there!

The Yoga 2 is an impressive 2-in-1 with all the same capabilities and software options as my Dell laptop. I am able to do homework while at work and traveling without all of the bulk. The only thing I do not care for is that certain apps must be linked to a personal Microsoft account, which I do not have or care to have. To enjoy certain games and apps, I have to carry my iPad along with me as well. Other than that, purchasing this Lenovo Yoga 2 was definitely a good buy.

This computer is a lovely touchscreen laptop that seems almost thin/light enough to be called an ultrabook. My main priority in choosing a computer was being thin and easily portable, and this definitely meets that criteria. But this computer has much more to offer than that alone. The display is excellent and the touchscreen is very sensitive. The keyboard is good and not as flimsy as with some other laptops. In terms of performance it seems to work as fast as my internet connection allows, but granted I'm not using it for large data transfer, gaming, etc. Also since it's the "yoga" laptop you can flip it around a few different ways which is nice (though I personally don't take advantage of this much). I think the one aspect which could be improved upon is the track pad which could be a bit more sensitive; also the buttons are a little awkward. But the computer has so many other great qualities that this is really just a small detail. Finally I can't believe how good this computer is for it's price. I would definitely recommend this product.

Love! I was originally looking into a Mac but really wanted a 2 in 1 touch. This is great and affordable. I travel a lot and this is perfect. Downside is once or twice a touch letter hasn't worked but when you switch back it works fine!

Performs to expectations. Light weight and screen size is sufficient. Windows 8.1 is still a little buggy with multiple windows open. Hangs randomly and PC must be restarted to clear the Hang.

I purchased this lightweight computer mainly for photo backup on vacation. Of course it includes numerous other useful functions one can use while traveling. I use it in laptop mode, but it can also be used in a slick tablet mode too. My only complaint is that the screen isn't as bright and sharp as my computer at home. But considering that the cost was way less, and it was purchased for a specific purpose, I am very pleased with it.

Love the touchscreen & 2-in-1 features. Very lightweight, extremely portable and works very well. The tablet feature & flexibility, along w/the laptop memory are just what I was hoping for . . . Well worth purchasing. Some glitches w/Lenovo software, but after all upgrades, no further issues.

I use this laptop for surfing the internet and playing music and there have been minimal issues. The touchscreen is a nice feature and I like using the tent stand when I play music. I've only used the tablet feature once and haven't used it again because it is heavy in tablet form, but feels so light as a laptop. Size is big enough to see documents well and fit your hands on the keyboard but small enough that's it is really easy to carry around.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase. I debated between this and a MacBook Air, though it may not be a fair comparison. Being that it was almost $400 cheaper I consider it a good buy, and worth it. I am happy with the resolution and the features. However, the battery life is not the best, and you have to press very hard on the keypad. Plus, it has a bit of a flimsy feel. But seems to be a good entry level computer.

So I was looking for a computer that was low in price but was still able to meet all my needs for an online school and this computer did it. I love that I can go between using the scroller to simply touching the monitor.
