I purchased the this laptop after a recommendation from a family member. I like that it is light weight and the flip screen design is very fun to use. It has taken some getting used to. I don't particular enjoy using the new version of Windows and it seems sometimes there is a delay in response when switching back and forth from touch screen to mouse pad. Overall I would recommend for someone like me who mainly uses the computer for shopping, viewing sites, or work.

If you are looking for a super compact entry level 2-in-1 hybrid laptop for a good price, Yoga 2 11 is a good choice. Processor performance is fine for Email, Browsing, Videos and Office work. Screen brightness is good. However, batter lasts only about 5 hrs of continuous use and WiFi is not super fast. While Yoga contortions are great for various uses, don't expect to hold it in a single hand to use as a tablet.

The Yoga 2, 2 in 1 is a nice, compact, user friendly laptop. It functions as a laptop, Touchscreen, Flip and Fold and Tombstone style device. I can't give it 5 Stars here because when I touch the screen at times it doesn't respond and often times it responds differently or more slowly then you would or should expect. This may be due to the software that I purchased because two weeks after I purchased it, I had to call the Geek Squad to fix the software. Some of the software was not installed, missing or had errors according to the Tech. I am familiar with older versions of Windows and if I had been more familiar with Windows 8.0, 8.1, I may have given it a 5 star rating here. I can see the improvements in Windows that Microsoft has made over the years and it seems carefully thought out in Windows 8.0, 8.1 The Yoga is a good product overall and with the smaller key pad I can reach the outer keys more easily when typing. The screen is High Resolution and easily viewable in the sunlight. I use a wireless mouse and multi-port thumb drive accessory and I have not seen any deficiencies. I would recommend this product if you are on a budget. It acts as if it were a higher end unit in a small package. Definitely a good choice for what I was asking for.

I may be a bit harsh on the performance aspect of this product... However, I don't use this PC all too much for it was bought as a gift for my sibling. Everything on the PC is very smooth, very little fan noise due to the HDD, bright display, all the necessary adapters for convenience while maintaining portability. She likes to edit photos and while using the simple Adobe app from the store is somewhat efficient, loading a full scale Photoshop program may not be the best of ideas. Maybe making this pc with a 7200 rpm HDD will improve it a bit while maintaining a low cost. However, I strongly recommend this laptop for the traveler, student or someone who like to browse the web, edit simple photos, Netflix, Hulu and do productivity such as Word, Excel and medium duty PowerPoint presentations. Camera is very good but I can vouch that the screen border is pretty thick and could have been slimmer to make the screen larger.

I have had an Acer for many many years, i saw the Yoga at BestBuy and loved the size and the lightness of the system. Was hesitant at first about it being a touch screen and being so flexible. I am very glad I purchased the Yoga!! Being able to watch movies with it standing on its own not having to prop it up or have a table to set it on is wonderful. Being able to multi-task is easy peasy, can switch from my school work to other sites and documents easily. I am learning how to use the motion options instead of touching the screen has been fun. This system is durable, lightweight and user friendly! Price was reasonably priced as well. Volume control can be adjusted on screen, keyboard and side of the system, stays charged for long periods of time while unplugged. Happy I can listen to music via bluetooth instead of having to download programs, hook up phone to the usb port is a wonderful feature! Best purchase I have made this year!!

This hybrid was awesome, b/c of how light it was and the features of the touchscreen and how it was a 2 in 1, but as a person who is going to go to college, I knew it wasn't going to be practical for me to be using this. The keyboards were glitchy and majority of the time, the touch pad did not work for me. I really wish I could love it, but I don't. I traded this in for a HP and I'm glad I did.

Love the Lenova-Yoga 2. It is so light & small, (almost too small for old age eyes LOL) and versatile. Love the touch screen! BUT, as for the Windows 8, I wouldn't give you 2 cents for it. It cost me an extra $100 to subscribe to Geek Squad to get the help I have needed. I think 10 is out and hopefully it will correct all of 8's problems. I am not a computer geek and never will be at my age, but until now, I thought I got around pretty good.....WRONG!!! Windows knows they goofed, so hopefully I will get a substantial discount to get it. Yes, I would recommend the Lenovo, but NO I would not recommend Windows 8.

Bought this Lenovo Yoga 2 11 because my new IPAD SUCKED! The IPAD wouldnt open some sights {bank} and was picky on too many things! Gave the IPAD to my wife. This lil computer does everything i ask of it and have NOT had a single glitch or problem with it! Love having the mouse option for it and also having 2 USB ports; a 2.0 and also a 3.0. Also having all the different positions it will stand in and also fold completely over to a tablet and still be thin is awesome! I'm VERY happy with it after a month so far!

Does all as advertised. A bit on the heavy side but still easy enough to maneuver. Works fine speed wise for basic use (surfing the Internet, streaming movies, social networking). Did have some slight connection problems streaming a movie and casting at the same time with a Chromecast.

I got my Lenovo - Yoga 2 2-in-1 11.6" Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Pentium - 4GB from my sons as a Father’s Day gift and I am just loving it. I found this two in one laptop to be one of the most innovative piece of gadget even invented. It is versatile, handy, tough and suitable for all occasions. There are times when it’s convenient to be used in the laptop mode and then there are time when it is most convenient to be used in the tablet mode. Having the Yoga is like having the best of both worlds. It's one of the best gift I have gotten so far.

Great laptop, perfect size if you're constantly on the go like myself. It's great being able to use it ss a regular laptop or flip keyboard and use it as a touchscreen tablet. And last but not least it can be used as a kickstand which allows you to watch movies. It's great for surfing the web, social media, light office work/homework etc. Prob not great for people who are big into gaming or other high use applications. Highly recommend it for an every day web surfing machine.

This is my first touchscreen laptop and I have to admit I am very impressed. Normally I would not have bought this brand but all the reviews I read online spoke highly of it. It's light and allows me to take it with me on my business trips which is all I could ask for.

I LOVE my new Lenovo Yoga, so much that I have purchased one for my husband also. I love how light it is, in laptop terms, and I love that I can simply touch the screen to reposition the mouse pointer or cursor (I've been wanting this technology since my first laptop). Two things that I had trouble getting used to, is: 1. Win8 - I'm still not used to the User Interface - and wish I could change it to look and act like Win7. 2. I don't like how the mouse pad provides shortcuts that work with Win8 - it was constantly misbehaving (user error, not malfunction) until I turned some of the functionality off. If someone learns to use this functionality from their first laptop/mousepad experience it may work out, but I have a particular way in which I place my hands on the laptop and use the mouse pad, which is not compatible with the new interface technology, and instead of being a help it ends up frustrating me. I'm so much happier since I disabled the mousepad short cuts...the shortcuts still work on the screen, so I haven't lost the functionality. I highly recommend this laptop for any age.

Not as fast as I thought it would be, but fast enough, good audio quality and screen.. Perfect size for mobility, touch screen and keypad respond very well... Not used for gaming, Surfing the web, e-mailing,, office applications what I need and does it right.. I am going to add more memory, if I can make it a little bit faster will be perfect, let you know...Almost forgot the screen looks good in every position you use it, laptop, tablet, tent etc...

It is a fast starting little laptop. I think it is good for the value, keep in mind it doesn't come with anything....so adobe is additional...office is additional.... everything is additional. Feel like I may have been able to custom build for less by time all said and done. Overall though it is light weight, easy to use once you get used to it.

After starting graduate school I quickly realized my 2008 Dell 15" Insperion wasn't going to cut it. So coming from a heavy, outdated, Windows Vista machine to this was a great day. This laptop is smaller, but surprisingly I don't notice the difference. I've been able to travel with this and not notice the weight in my bag. I love the fact it can be a tablet, and the touch screen is perfect. It has taken a lot of time for me to get used to Windows 8.1, but I'm very happy that I chose a machine with 8.1 installed rather than attempting to upgrade from 8.0. This is a great option for anyone looking for an inexpensive middle of the road machine. If you are coming from something 3 to 5 years old, there is no need to jump to a SSD. There is minimal fan noise, and even after 3 hours of paper writing the back is barely warm. Nicely done all around Lenovo.
