Pros: 16 GB RAM and i7 CPU, so speed was very good. Quiet laptop (of course, SSD). Touchscreen is good. No touchpad issues. Not too much preloaded stuff (big plus). Light weight. No fan issues. Cons: Someone, please change that 6-feet battery charger wire. The batter plug too is unnecessarily big. Keyboard is a bit slippery. If this laptop came with 4G, it would have been a blockbuster.

Bought this laptop on 8 nov from best buy... Look wise its okies battery is cool .. hinges are not good when u want to let it slight open.. apart from these i dont see any premium build quality in look and feel. The power key is placed at middle of edge of this laptop at right hand side, which is pressed accidentally most of the times when you lift or move your laptop. Now comes to main issues which made me think to return this laptop. .. Not sure those are win 10 issues or drivers issues or laptop issue. Touchpad is not responsive most of the time and right click left click sometimes misses it. Main issue is screen flickering it flickers I am not sure why .. I upgraded all drivers and BIOS drivers too but no good. Typing is difficult on this keyboard. Not at all worth 1400 bucks( mine is 16gb 512ssd model) The power cable is kind of USB cable.. and it is too small to easily plug and work.. its just around a meter of 1.3 mts. Pros : Battery, processor Cons : Lot many .. charging cable, touchpad, screen flickering, looks like a cheap box with some weird hinges.

I read many reviews before purchasing the Yoga 900. It exceeds my expectations in many ways including, the looks, feel, speed and build quality. Battery life is good, but didn't blow me away. It has a couple of issues. 1. When using sleep mode, it intermittently wakes it's self up. When it doea this without knowing, it runs down battery and can become hot especially when in the case that I bought for it. The solution I found for this is to use hibernate mode, takes a little longer to wake up, but solves the problem. Other issue is rhat the screen keeps defaulting back to 15% brightness, haven't found a solution yet. I don't like how One Cloud works with Windows 10 (no file place holders) but that is not Lenovo's fault. I would purchase again, especially with the very liberal holiday return policy Beat Buy offered

Great lightweight laptop. Love that we can use as a laptop and have the keyboard; but also love that it has the touchscreen and can be used as a tablet. This is the best of both worlds! This little computer is lightning fast and does everything we want it to do. Also love that it comes in orange!!! It is super light and easy to carry with when traveling or just hanging out at the library. We would definitely recommend this computer to anyone looking for a powerful, lightweight laptop/tablet.

Got computer for my daughter who is a graduate student , she is in the medical field and needs to use in her studies as well as her job. She loves it's features and all she can with it with ease. At first disappointed it didn't have a disc drive but were able to get an external one Bought this particular computer based on recommendations from Best Buy salesperson

I'm loving my new Lenovo Yoga 900. I had looked at the Surface Pro but the wait time was too long and the price too high. This machine had the increased ram (16 gig) and SSD Hard Drive that I wanted. Upgraded to Win 10 Pro without a hitch. Super fast, small and light., I've been using the machine as a desktop replacement and so far the performance has been great.

    operating software problems plagued me!

My experience to date (and I've only had it actually up and running less than a week after a number of Geek Squad interations/leaving it for reinstallation of the operating software) is totally colored by the fact that my unit had corrupted operating software that took Geek Squad a while to figure out. Now that it has been totally reinstalled it seems to be working fine, BUT every step of the way with Windows 10.1 there has been some issues with things like Quicken, etc. The hardware itself seems great, but I can't separate that from the hassle I've had to endure just getting the right Outlook version operating with Windows 10 on this Lenovo (apparently only 365 can be installed without issues). I love the look, feel, touch (and sound--awesome volume in this small unit) of this laptop, but the start up pains were daunting.

folks, I normally don't write reviews only because I think who cares but after giving this laptop 3 weeks and upto 60 hours of personal attention, it is where I would want it to be, I really don't want this review to be long but if this helps someone I would be happy, so here it goes I compared this directly with surfacebbook pro and I went from my home making my mind that today I am going to spend in north of 2600 usd and will get surfacebook pro what ever it takes because its stypish.., I spend 4 hours doing an apple to apple comparision and this one won in every aspect be it battery time, processing benchmarks, formfactor and looks etc.... without going in too much details ill tell you that this is not an everyday persons machine, I am running windows 10 on this as I work for the company that makes it and I obviously love it but on top of that since I am a cyber security personal I am running 8 VMs simultaneously most of the time I am doing my labs, I have this connected to multiple monitors, I also ordered a 60usd dot pen to take notes, I have a lot of softwares installed which you will need if you deal with various OS and processor hungry apps, someone mentioned on the flickering of the screen yes that is annowing but its display card feature that can be disabled but if u really want juice from battery let it be the way it is, I can tell you with 10 percent brightness in the night I was able to get upto 9 to 10 hours only because of Lenovo software features which finetune display and processing to give u the juice , my only complain and the way I am dealing with it the usb 6 point slot is very unique and I like to carry extra juice for myself so there was not a single powerbank adapter availablbe till day to pack some extra battery with it, then I reached out to mike greyer who makes customized battery packs and now even though he sells it for almost 350usd but it is a 52000mah battery brick with a custom adapter that gives me 7 to 8 more hours on top of 9 hours that I already have, so combined this laptop gives me juice and power but again I use a machine for living and I want it sexy and yet very powerful plus I don't want to carry few ipads, android pads and mini laptops to do different things for me, now I have 1 device and it does all for me , I still paid 1200 less than surface pro and I am very happy with this purchase, I would recommend it to any power user/geek like me, its a no brainer and just don't take my words for it, if u don't like it after using if for few weeks u can return it back, I just wish I would have taken clementine orange as it looks kool but best buy never has it in stock

Not a quality product - 2nd Lenovo nightmare

I bought a Lenovo tablet that was a total disaster, always froze to the degree that I had to take it back and I bought a different manufacturer. However, when the Yoga 2 came out every review I read was so good I figured I would give Lenovo another try. What a mistake! Before a year even ran out it started telling me it can't boot up because it can't find the boot drive and I have to keep rebooting over and over till finally it kicks in. I took it to geek squad who supposedly fixed it but a few weeks after my 1 year warranty and geek squad ran out, it started doing it again and now I have to hit reboot 10 times before it even comes on. I'll never buy Lenovo again and I suggest you don't either--learn from my mistakes and spare yourself the money and the frustration.
