I program smart houses and universal remotes for a living. My friend who has a 40 person computer programming company suggested this computer. He was correct, As far as windows laptops go this is the best product. Still unfortunately light years behind Apple

I've been really happy with this laptop and would recommend it to anyone. I would have given it 5 stars if it didn't come with so much bloatware. Pros -Very light and compact -Backlit keyboard (Fn+spacebar to toggle) is great in low-light situations -Unique watchband hinge reduces bulk and aids flexibility -Can use like a laptop or tablet -Amazing HD screen -Very fast - both at startup and during use Cons -As mentioned, bloatware. Lenovo loads the machine with all sorts of stuff, a lot of which is aimed toward marketing you something that you don't really need. Some of this comes with a performance load as well. Intrusive, IMHO, particularly given it's yours and you're paying for it. Take some time, research whether it's needed (shouldiremoveit is a good source) and remove it if you have those skills -a few apps I use haven't incorporated HD display into their drivers and as a result show up as (very) small with no way to adjust. Not Lenovo's fault, of course and should resolve over time as developers upgrade their products -I've not been able to find detailed Lenovo documentation for this specific model yet, perhaps because it's quite new. Existing docs (e.g. Yoga 2 Pro) have been an acceptable backup

bought this product mainly because I wanted a computer that was super light and this fits that description. It's paper thin and ways not much more than a couple pounds. I love the hinge that allows it to fold into multiple shapes so it can be used even as a tablet. I upgraded it to windows 10 right away and am loving it. I am having problems with the screen sometimes blinking when I wake it up or start it, but I'm not sure if it's the computer or the software. It usually goes away with a restart. I got the impression that it didn't have an internal fan because of the M chip and that allows it to be thin, but I can hear the fan running and it does get a little warm on the bottom. I like the option for a lighted keyboard, which you can turn on or off. I don't think the battery life is particularly long but I haven't timed it yet. Sometimes the screen will to scroll smooth and be a little jerky but not sure if it's the Internet connection or the slower processor. Overall I'm glad a bought this computer, just hope the screen blinking doesn't get worse.

We have been using this laptop for 6 months now and we are satisfied with it. Pros Extremely light weight Display is gorgeous Bootup and shutdown is very very fast. SSD is really good. Can be used as a windows tablet. Cons Webcam is not good. Speakers are not good as its very compact. Feels slow sometimes as the processor is not that powerful. Battery life is really poor, with moderate usage it lasts 3-4 hours. Since the newer models are out now, I would recommend checking them out.

My husband owned a Yoga 2 and loved it so much. Meanwhile, I owned a Sony Vaio, which I thought I loved until the hard drive failed after just 16 months. My husband gave me this Yoga 3 Pro and I could not be happier. I was having some minor issues with Internet speed on my Vaio. I no longer have those issues. My Yoga has a solid state drive which enables it to boot up quickly. It is so lightweight and thin I no longer mind having it on my lap in my recliner. It is not much heavier than my Ipad! And it packs so easily into any briefcase or messenger bag. The screen resolution is awesome. It came with Windows 10 installed. It was just a minor transition for me from Windows 8.1. The Yoga folds over backwards to become a tablet and the keyboard disables in that mode. Works like a charm! Of course, this computer is a touch screen. I am 65 yrs old and have some carpal tunnel and arthritis issues. This touch screen certainly helps with these issues. I cannot think of any cons to talk about. Love, love, love this computer!

Overall I really like the Lenovo Yoga3. It is far more robust than the Yoga2, so I am told by my friends who own the Yoga2. The only thing I do not really like about the Yoga3 is that the keyboard is kind of small but I am starting to get used to it. I do hook it up to my wireless mouse and keyboard sometimes when at my home office desk. I do like its versatility when moving around though. It is very light and it feels more durable than the Thinkpad I had before.

When I need a new computer, I spend a ton of time researching. Before purchasing, I went into my local Best Buy to see some machines in person. I came across this one and was intrigued by the dual laptop/tablet feature. I was really impressed with the lightness and feel of it. I love the tablet feature, as you can change the keyboard to recognize your handwriting, right on the screen! I am using this daily for teaching, as well as freelance graphic design. I went with the higher model to make sure I had enough speed and storage. If you are looking for a laptop similar to a Mac book, but don't want to spend that kind of money, I highly recommend this one as an alternative!

I am an engineer and use this computer as a second computer for light work from home and in the field. Mostly MS Office products, Acrobat, and only occasional CAD. Great computer for my purpose. I can open it up to work from home or fold it over to annotate plans in the field. My biggest issue is all the bloat from programs added by Lenovo. Slows the machine down right out of the box.

My priorities in a laptop were light weight and fast performance. The Yoga3 delivers best in class for both. Battery life is about what I expected--half of what is listed. Perhaps if one reduced the screen brightness and performance levels down to an unusable level, the 9 hrs. could be attained. Some Windows programs have a tough time shrinking down to the 13" screen, and maintaining readability. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Yoga3

The Yoga 3 Pro is unbelievably light, easy to set up, and loaded with terrific features. In Tablet mode, it is a little awkward to use due to it's size, but intuitive. The track pad can be a little sluggish at times as well. Touch screen is steady and receptive for easy navigation. The solid state drive has performed as advertised (starts up lightning quick). Audio and video quality is on par with the best of breed out there. Performance is great thus far.

The best laptop I've ever owned. The last 2 laptops I had were ultraportable Sony Vaios and when I heard Sony wasn't making laptops anymore I got worried! I needed a new computer, but just couldn't find something that was **extremelly** light, but also powerful enough, because I don't use desktops and as a designer, I need to run all kinds of heavy apps and keep the laptop on all day. This little Yoga does everything I need and supports heavy, all day use way better than my old Vaios did when I first got them. No overheating, no crashes, just smooth running, with a large enough HD for its weight. The only cons are that there's no regular HDMI input, just a smaller type and no input I can plugin my larger monitor. The power cord is also very short. But anyway, these cons aren't bad enough to steal a star from my review, because as I said, this is the best laptop I've ever had! I really recommend this computer!

I recently purchased the Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro 13.3" laptop. I had actually gone in looking at their smaller version as it was more inline with my budget. This unit was on a screaming deal at $999 so with a $500 savings, I couldn't pass it up. I really like the watch band hinge and over all screen size. When in tablet mode I can rotate the screen to legal size and flip it back with ease. It is light weight. I like the SSD hard drive, it quickly boots up and shuts off. I've paired it with the pillbox XL as well as the Sony DPX 440 camcorder with ease. Windows 8 was new to me but easy to figure out.

Light, streamlined and the flip screen for presentations is great. Fast solid state and the screen resolution is superb. A couple of things that are troubling: the keys are very flat so not easy for me to work. But the big issue is that Lenovo has a separate relationship with Intel so their Intel does not respond the same and their are some problems with updates for Windows 10.

I love this computer. It is fast and super lightweight. The picture quality is amazing. It is also aesthetically pleasing. But the battery does not last as long as I would like, and the charger is strange. I doesn't stay plugged in to all sockets. The cord is pretty short. I would love this computer a lot more if the battery lasted longer and the charger worked better.

Purchased the Windows 8 version and upgraded to Windows 10. Took a while to update all of the Lenovo drivers in order to get the display to quit flickering. Seems to be stable now. The high des screen integration with Windows seems a bit flawed. At times, have to get the reading lens out in order to see on screen text that does not scale to 300% automatically. Not able to get iTunes to close without a failure as well, even after multiple clean re-installs. 500gb solid state HDD is a nice feature. There is a cooling fan that runs when CPU usage is high. Watch for mechanical fan noise when it is running. This is a documented complaint that shows up online when searching for Yoga 3 fan noise issues. Another issue is the downgrading of the clock speed. Does not seem to be impacting access time and processing time with typical MS Office applications. All in all, pretty nice, durable, low weight laptop for the price. Probably want to look at purchasing Windows 10 pre-installed from the start next time.

It's difficult to review a computer when you purchased it during the holidays and are just now having the opportunity to use it. I am experiencing Windows 8.1 for the first time. Oh...My...Goodness! I truly miss Windows 7 and am excited to move to Windows 10. But the young woman who sold me my Yoga at Best Buy on Thunderbird in Phoenix REALLY taught me some fantastic tricks to use in Windows 8. Thanks to her...I am able to navigate quite easily. I am able to do my job as I learn. I LOVE the way the cover bends all the way backwards to provide a stand for my laptop desktop. I'm a laptop user, so I think the removable tablet cover would have annoyed me. So.....I REALLY LIKE this Lenovo Yoga. I gave it 4 stars because I'm not well acquainted with it yet. Try me in another month..... I might be willing to give it 5!

The screen is very sharp and clear. Touch sensitive screen is great once you get used to using it. There are 2 usb ports and I could use one more. It took me awhile to get my start screen figured out and it is a handy concept. I needed to set up my email on Outlook to use it and that went well. Lightweight, sturdy and FAST - The Yoga 3 Pro is a winner.

The form factor is exceptional. My usual box is a MacBook Air. This is lighter, has the right-size screen, and folds over to be a usable functional tablet while remaining thin. The only disappointment I have is with battery life. I have installed and use MS Office, I use Evernote and Outlook 365 online. I am not a power user. I get about 4.5 hours out of this box. Lenovo advertises a much longer battery life. And there is a several week lead time on ordering extra power supplies (hopefully that will change soon).

I love my Lenovo Yoga Plus 3. It is very fast, very thin and easy to carry. The only downsides I know of are that I don't seem to know how to flip the screen when I screen upside down. The finger pad also gets run down easily from overuse.
