I read many reviews of this product before I bought it. I worried about the processing power of this unit. Once I purchased it I found the unit to be light and capable. The screen resolution is extremely nice and the keyboard works nicely. My only complaint is the battery life but I knew before I purchased that the battery won't last as long as an Apple product.

Excellent computer. Love that it is lightweight. Great for travel. Very happy with all the features, especially the touch screen and tablet use. Only negative is the laptop tends to get a little hotter than other laptops I've used.

Purchased as a college laptop for my daughter; definitely a premium price and package, but she was spending some gift money and really liked this machine. As she was moving from an older ASUS transformer T100, a touch-screen was a must - she almost never scrolls with anything but her finger! The total screen size, resolution, performance, and very thin package of the Yoga 3 is what sold her on the device. We looked at other HP, Dell, and ASUS convertibles, as well as Apple Macbooks, but nothing seemed to fit her needs and wants as well.

The Lenovo Yoga Pro 3 is super thin, lightweight, and durable. I was concerned that the processor wouldn't be able to handle everything I threw at it but these new Intel Broadwell chips are amazeballs.
I had every imaging application running and performing RAM & CPU intensive tasks but couldn't crash anything. I was extremely impressed.
The QuadHD touch screen is so beautiful and reactive. The SSD speeds everything up and it is so nice to fold it as a tablet, laptop, or tent, as needed depending on where I'm sitting.

Solid machine. Flash drive makes it fast, decent battery life, despite high resolution screen. Very lightweight and portable. Rubberized surface around keyboard attracts dust and lint to some extent. Charger uses a USB port but it has 3 so not generally an issue. Best alternative to MacBook Air if you don't drink the koolaid. :)

The Lenovo Yoga 3 was simple to get set up. It is very quiet (since it's solid state) and it does not get hot. It gets warm but not uncomfortably hot. The battery seems to deplete more quickly than I expected, but it is not a show stopper. Fun design.

This laptop constantly surprises me with its power and also its beauty inside and out. The Yoga 3 Pro adds a unique new hinge to be thinner and lighter than ever. The high-resolution screen looks fantastic, and the hybrid design still works great as a laptop.

Replaced much heavier laptop with this great light 2 in 1. So far very pleased with size, weight, and performance. Battery life is good, 7+ hrs. Only drawback so far is the super high resolution screen, which is great for most things, is somewhat incompatible with some older software that was not designed with a hi-res modern screen in mind. Makes things hard to read.

I needed a lightweight laptop with good daiy performance to do office related tasks, Outlook, word, excel, PowerPoint,... and was not disappointed. I would have given this laptop 4 or 5 stars, hiwever had to take points away because the display cannot be used to its potential resolution :(

Bought the laptop for business traveling and it works well, is light to carry and big enough to feel right for doing emails, web browsing, Skype, etc. Much faster to with the 512 GB SSD. Very light to carry.

Gets the job done, and is light. But the battery life is disappointing, which would maybe be fine if the speed didn't leave a lot to be desired. Seems like for the price you'd get either good battery life, or a computer that was better at multi-tasking. This does neither. The trackpad response is choppy.
Pros: the screen looks great and the touch screen responds well. It is very light and portable. But I guess how portable is it really with only about 2 hours of battery life?
If I had it to do over I'd get something else.

I love the laptop. I wasn't sure I would because of the size. But I absolutely love it. It is fast and light and I can use it as a tablet. I can't say enough about how much I love it.

The good. High resolution bright screen, good performance and battery life, with a classy shell.
The bad. Not really bad, but some of the Windows software (8.1) needed a number of updates before it would work in a usable fashion. Two months later most issues seem to have everything worked out satisfactorily.
The differences. 2 USB3 ports, plus a USB2 port which doubles as the power port. The unit can be used as a laptop, a tablet, a tent or stand style presentation/viewing screen plus software that detects which mode it is in and configures itself accordingly.
The nearest competition in the Microsoft Surface 3, but a simple inspection of the two will show the better build quality of the Yoga, plus at approximately the same price it includes the keyboard. Because the keyboard is non-detatchable, the unit is heavier however.

Liked it for 4 weeks, then my screen went black.

I was pretty happy with the Yoga 3 Pro for the few weeks that I had it in my hands. I bought it largely because of its 2.6 lb weight. It seemed sturdy enough, despite the lightness. Turning it on/off was nearly instantaneous, which was a huge improvement from my older laptop. The screen is excellent.
But after about 4 weeks, during a trip to the opposite coast, the screen suddenly went black while I was working on it. I brought it to the nearest Best Buy (I have full Geek Squad coverage). They had to ship it to Kentucky, and they estimated that I won't get it back for 2 weeks. Making it worse, I left it with them before 11:15 am on a Friday, and it didn't ship out until Monday afternoon.
There were two other issues that dampened my enthusiasm for the Yoga 3 Pro. First, there was an error msg on startup that began occurring after one of the auto-updates. From forum posts, it appeared that everyone with a Yoga 3 was experiencing these error msgs. I expected it to be quickly fixed with another update, but the error msgs were still occurring a week later.
The last negative issue was an oddity. If writing a post in a Yahoo Group, I was unable to select parts of the text with the cursor. This is something I could always do with my older laptop, and still can do, but I was repeatedly unable to do it with the Lenovo Yoga 3.
I may end up happy with the Yoga 3, but it's impossible to give it more than 2 stars when it crashed within a month.

The best laptop I've ever owned. The last 2 laptops I had were ultraportable Sony Vaios and when I heard Sony wasn't making laptops anymore I got worried! I needed a new computer, but just couldn't find something that was **extremelly** light, but also powerful enough, because I don't use desktops and as a designer, I need to run all kinds of heavy apps and keep the laptop on all day.
This little Yoga does everything I need and supports heavy, all day use way better than my old Vaios did when I first got them. No overheating, no crashes, just smooth running, with a large enough HD for its weight.
The only cons are that there's no regular HDMI input, just a smaller type and no input I can plugin my larger monitor. The power cord is also very short. But anyway, these cons aren't bad enough to steal a star from my review, because as I said, this is the best laptop I've ever had!
I really recommend this computer!
