I have never owned a laptop before and thought that I never would. they seemed foreign and just for young people. I went to Best Buy on a suggestion from someone. The employees there and in the "Geek Squad" were fantastic. They were friendly, courteous, knowledgeable. They didn't treat me like an "old" person. They showed me how to use it and it is wonderful. So much easier than the PC's I have had in the past. I love the portability of it. I don't have to stay in one place, one room anymore. It moves with me.

When these go on sale they are pretty much everything that you could ask for at this price point. Keyboard is great and the numpad is a bonus if you are into that.

Bought an open box at an amazing deal and looks great with no issues. Best purchase I've made in a while.

Good for my purposes

It works well for my use, which is mostly work-related (I'm a teacher), financial tracking, and school (working toward my Master's). The only issue I have is sometimes it boots up weird and I have to enter an incredibly long code to reboot, sometimes multiple times. I'm not sure if this has something to do with when the laptop isn't shut down properly (such as when it dies) or what. All in all, I like the laptop and think it is worth what I paid for it.

My old laptop was completely dead so I went into the store and wasn't expecting this brand to catch my attention and it did!
