Its on sale for $550 so very good price to performance, for the cost and specs you can't really complain, the 780m is about the best budget integrated graphics you can get, ryzen 7 8840hs is pretty nice as well, only complaints is that the ram is soldered, screen kinda sucks and the ssd being 512gb which doesnt bother me but for it's normal price of about 1k is kind of annoying. Would not have brought anywhere over $800 though, 512 ssd and th screen are pretty bad for that price

I am a humanities scholar, and I do not need a very sophisticated computer. This one works well for me. It has a decent performance, but the cost-benefit ratio is not ideal. Similar products of a similar price range have a better battery life.

Laptop is solid and the hardware is good. Runs my IDE perfectly fine. It can handle older games (New Vegas, Skyrim) fantastically. I haven't tried anything newer but I suspect it can handle a decent amount of games for those who are into that. I managed to get it on sale for $650. After using it, I'd have gladly paid a bit more for it. The one complaint I have is that the track pad is pretty far to the left. It makes my default hand position cause some crossover between my mouse hand (right) and my keyboard hand (left). This can be fixed with an external mouse and turning off the track pad. So, not a massive pitfall. I recommend getting it on a sale but for the price, you won't feel disappointed if you intend to use this as a work machine.
