Overall nice sturdy light weight computer that loads quickly for programs to replace my HP pavillion of 4.5 years . However it is very finicky for the mouse pad where the size of the font changes when swiping it incorrectly. Had a couple problems with configuring the computer right off the bat despite being able to use it and get onto the internet. However for being new you would expect the configuration to run properly. Talked to Lenovo, got a case number, unable to be resolved. Returned it, got a second one. Had the same problem, talked to Lenovo for 1.5 hrs. Got it resolved. Apparently there were false positives when running the configuration. wi fi sensor issues. does not automatically connect even when when "checked marked" but living with it and kicks you off the internet... so speedy comp for my daily use. ie internet,loading files, using microsoft office. just finicky comp.

I've been using this for roughly two weeks and I've thoroughly enjoyed it. Thus far the only "issues," if you want to call them that, is getting used to the functionality when the device is in tablet mode. The keyboard automatically turns off, however I appear to have to manually change it into table mode in order to get the tablet keyboard to work. Last night I had several issues with the touch screen. Today, there have been no problems. I love the speed and battery life. The charger becomes extremely hot once the device has been fully charged. I'm going to look into that. Hopefully, it is just an issue with this particular charger that can be resolved and not a problem overall.

I was on the market for a light, powerful and usable laptop, and I have found this laptop to be more than sufficient for what I needed. I definitely recommend it for anything other than playing video games and storing large chunks of data.

I bought this laptop for my daughter. She uses it for college and personal use. I have also used it several times to browse the internet and pay bills. Some of the main things I really like is the boot up speed. There is practically "No Waiting" on this machine. It jumps to life almost instantly. Another "VERY" useful item is that the keyboard is backlit. Now that I have used this I will never buy another laptop without the backlit key board. The touch screen is nice sometimes but I could do with or without it. Overall this is a Great Bang for the Buck. I Highly Recommend This One.

Great starter laptop for my daughter. She loves the touch screen option.

I had a THINKPAD which finally died so I replaced it with the Yoga 700. It's a nice computer and will fill home use needs. However, it hangs up more often than I would like. Plus it is sensitive and I find it tends to jump screens. It's a good computer for the home for the price. I miss my THINKPAD - it was just priced out of my range of what I was willing to spend.

I've had this laptop for a month now. I was ready to return it within the first few hours! But once I adjusted the touchpad settings and updated the drivers, it started behaving...for about a week. I started using the laptop more in tablet mode and experienced phantom mouse movements and bubbles of light, and sometimes the touchscreen would stop working. I recently learned of the ghost touch fix and upgraded the LG panel firmware. Now the laptop is working great. And I don't know if it's coincidence, but after the firmware upgrade, the laptop is running a lot cooler. Very happy with it now. Love having SSD and lighted keyboard. Boot up is super quick. I would've given it 5 stars if I hadn't had to do so much to get it to work right. The laptop feels great, made of solid material. Perfect size for travel, not too big, and yet the screen is large enough to see what I'm working on. Speed is decent for the price. Had some challenges with the touch screen (had ghost/false touch on the screen), had to find a solution through the screen manufacturer (LG) to resolve rather than through Lenovo. Overall a good laptop for work or personal use.

I always look at high end products and then work backwards towards teh middle, since there is usually a huge depreciation on computers right after you buy them. This computer is plenty fast with good battery life, and performs well enough for heavy graphics programs like Adobe Illustrator and even professional grade music recording software like Pro-Tools. There is no lagging in the performance, and handles anything I can throw at it, with a good battery life as well. I definitely recommend this computer for others at a really good price. You would not be happy buying something cheaper, when performance counts.

The display worked great in the store. I got this laptop home and it is extremely slow, in fact several websites timed out trying to load. The home screen says Toshiba in the corner. I don't know how that happened, I don't think Toshiba has anything to do with Lenovo. I am hoping I just got a bad one and BestBuy will exchange for another. The reviews I have read are for the most part positive.

I first tried a Yoga 700, but had problems with the cursor jumping around on its own as well as phantom screen touches. Returned it and got a Yoga 710 instead. Likes: Speed of boot up Great display Portability Has everything I'm looking for in a 2 in 1 Dislikes: The keyboard layout drives me crazy. For some reason Lenovo shrunk the 'right' shift key and moved it way over to the right edge and stuck the page up arrow in a place that I constantly hit instead of the right shift key. As an old school typist searching for the right shift key instead automatically being in the place I am familiar with sucks. I almost brought the machine back. I'm still pondering whether to do so or not.

I did about a month of research before deciding on this laptop. This research included talking with several friends in the technology field, reading reviews and hands on testing in the store. My goal was to get a laptop for personal use which includes web surfing, email, working with Office docs, watching shows (sports) and reading. The key features I wanted were fast start-up, touchscreen, backlit keyboard, high-resolution and decent battery life. Turns out I picked a winner! I've been using the computer now for about 6 weeks and have had zero issues. The computer is so well-made and designed, that I actually look forward to using it when I get home from work. One of the biggest decisions I struggled with was whether to go with Windows 10 or a Macbook. Turns out this computer is in the same category of quality and user experience. In the past, Windows computers didn't feel "cohesive" and integrated with the hardware - probably because they weren't! :-). That is not the case with this computer at all. Overall, I'm very pleased with the Windows 10 experience on this laptop; it has a refined experience that "just works" when I need it.

I love my new Lenova Yoga 700. I love the size and weight. It's perfectly portable but sized right to be a work horse. The key board has a great feel to it. I'm looking forward to the touch screen/tablet feature as soon as I get a chance to play!

I was looking for a laptop for my daughter and she loved this one. It's very lightweight, has a wonderful bright and sharp display and boots up really fast. The keys are very soft too. I have had no problem with the laptop since the purchase.

If you're interested in a fast, light alternative to a MacBook that happens to have a touchscreen this is the pc for you.

Much more capable than what I need, but for the price it's worth getting the better product. Very fast and looks great.

I love the speed and weight of this computer. I bought one open box and It crashed within 6 weeks. Best buy was great with replacing the product with a new one.

I was in a pinch and just as this years model with the fancier hinge was released got a great deal on this one! This computer is fast,has enough ram to run Windows 10 and a back lit keyboard. Good processor for what i use it for,light spreadsheets surfing the web.control my music..etc lightweight and durable as well. You can use it for presentations in tablet mode as well. On board speakers could be better..and it doesnt handle serious gaming..but still awesome.

This my first ultra book computer. I am pleased with the computer because it has met all of my expectations in regards to speed, weight, reliability, etc.
