Great Laptop great deal

I was going to buy a less expensive travel laptop to get buy but was convinced to go for this. I ended up spending slightly more for a way better laptop. Works great and is super travel friendly. Only downfall is the keyboard is a bit strange to use. The shift key and arrows are out of place due to keyboard size.

Posted .Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 710-11. With regard to the right shift key issue you mention, there is a free software APP called KeyTweak that may help you. You can switch the key functions of specific keys on your keyboard with this software, so you could change the right shift key with the key you hit in its place. Just Google search "KeyTweak" and you will find articles about what the software does and you will find the download location for this free APP.

Only one problem

Every time I get on the internet after my laptop sleeps or gets turned on, I have to run a windows diagnostic test to connect to the wifi. I don't get why I have to do this all the time. It's so frustrating because my $200 laptop I had before didn't have this problem

You can also run diagnostics from the Lenovo site as well. As always, be sure to create a restore point on your system before you make any changes. You can do this by just typing "restore point" in the search window within Cortana and follow the link to create a restore point. The USB and Micro HDMI ports are too close together. The shoulders on the connectors interfere with each other. Forcing one or both plugs to go in crooked. This stresses the cables and ports. On my first machine I actually ended up with a damaged HDMI Port and had to swap out the machine for a new one.
