I bought the Lenovo yoga to my brother in college and it is the best. So, I have one myself too. It is light, portable size, great battery life. I recommend it to college students and businesses.

Haven't had any problems yet with this laplet, works great and easy to carry since it's thin and not bulky. Runs fast and easy to use I think!

When I was looking to purchase this laptop I was trying to get as good of a deal as possible. I was able to get the i7 with 16 gigabytes of RAM and a 512 gigabyte SSD for $1,250. It was one of the best buys I think I could have made. It is fast, fairly reliable (the only reason I say fairly is because I like to click the mouse instead of top the pan and the clicker can be a little difficult at times but the topping works flawlessly), and extremely stylish. Even one of my coworkers who is a die-hard Mac fan loves the way this laptop looks and feels. I think the only thing that would make this laptop better is if it came in a 14 inch or 15.6 inch screen.

I have the i7, 500GB SSD, 16GB RAM version. It is very fast. No WiFi problems. Using dual monitor setup via targus USB dock. Use this for work and play. VirtualBox runs great with windows xp for legacy business programs and windows 7 also. Comes with Win 10 home, but you can hack to add group policy just like pro....google it. Win 10 is a step up from Win 8. Screen resolution very good. Watchband hinge is cool. It boots Win10 in <30 seconds.

Pros: Very lightweight, amazing battery life, nice look.
Cons: Software issues, screen resolution is not the best, no camera on the back of the comp (only face camera), screen has issues coming back on, front facing camera is horrendous.
So when I buy something I buy the best that I can, When I bought my Mac (3 years ago) I bought the upgraded version so there would be no performance issues. Same thing here, bought the i7 processor with the upgraded ram. Was VERY disappointed that BestBuy did not offer the Clementine Orange color in the upgraded version, only the cheaper versions can have the colors other than silver... Makes no sense. Anyway, I uses my technology very heavily for work as a Real Estate Investor. The Yoga seemed to be spot on for the first 30 days. I get some weird software glitches from time to time. First, the internet kept dropping completely. For several days, it was not my wifi, it was the computer for sure. I did a software upgrade on the Lenovo program that is installed, rather than through windows, and it seems to have fixed that issue. Now, the SD card will NEVER safely remove. Not sure what the deal is there. The main issue I have is one of the websites I use often I have to fill out forms in it. It will NOT ever work properly. The scroll function does not work on this site and the other functions are very glitchy. I would give more detail but without knowing the website it is not important. The main thing is, it works perfectly fine on my windows 10 Desktop computer at work, but does not on my Yoga. I also use the google suite like crazy and it hates google Chrome. My cursor disappears frequently, and it will not come back. Almost like it goes into tablet mode and won't come out (even though I never went into tablet mode). That issue is fixed as soon as I use the Edge browser instead of Chrome. Still is irritating having to use two browsers, same irritation I had with the Mac. I almost forgot the most irritating thing, when I am working on it sometimes and I stop for a while and click the screen off, I usually can come right back and hit the side button and turn the screen right back on. Only problem is, about 4 times now ( I have owned it for about a month, this has started in the past week) it will not turn the screen back on. I know the comp is on because the side light is on. But it will not turn the screen on. So I have to do a hard reset. The first time it happened I thought the battery died, which was strange because the battery life is phenomenal. I keep remembering things last second, the camera quality is HORRENDOUS! I could take better pictures with the flip phone I had in high school. I took a few pics of my daughters with it and I seriously can't believe how terribly the quality is on these pictures. I could not use them for anything, not for printing and putting in a frame, editing and posting to facebook, or even taking picturs for work in a pinch. It truly is terrible so if you are looking to take a lot of pics with it (which I am not) don't buy it.
In summary, it is a decent machine. I have come to the realization that I just have too high of expectations for my technology. I just expect everything to work as it should but this seems to be an impossible task. In the last three years I have purchased a Dell (returned the next day), a MacBook Pro (selling currently due to hardware issues) and this Yoga.

Great laptop/tablet but...

So I purchased the Yoga 900 a little over a month ago and it is awesome! The processing speed, the tablet, the laptop, etc...
Only issue is with the power supply. First, my went bad after not even one month's use. They replaced it which was a horrible ordeal (that's more of a review of support). I've had the new one for 3 weeks now and so far so good.
The issue with the power supply is the AC adapter. Besides taking up a USB slot to power the machine, the actual adapter that plugs into the electrical socket takes up 2-3 spots (depending on where you plug it into). You see the picture of the adapter. The USB in is near the top. However, the prongs that go into the electrical socket are dead center. When plugging into a power strip or wall socket it will cover the other outlet(s).
I can't believe they did this, but they did. They must have had a blind mad designing the power supply because I can't believe someone with any degree of common sense would have done so with something that is so plainly easy to see!
All in all this is a great laptop. I just don't think sacrificing a USB slot to charge it and also sacrificing 2-3 slots on a power strip or sockets worth it. I travel a lot and there are times when I have very limited access to power outlets. This poor design needs to be corrected and everyone who has purchased the laptop be given new power adapter to at least eliminate 1 of the 2 major design flaws.

I did plenty of research on many manufacturers and sizes of "All in Ones" and finally decided to go with the the YOGA 900 with maxed out specs. Definitely up there with Macbooks and Surface. I am very pleased with the quality and speed of this laptop. The touch screen and convertible options are great. The battery life is very good. Hope it stands the test of time with durability.

Beautiful 2-in-1. Fit and finish are well improved over the Yoga 3 Pro. Lightning fast. Shipped with the wrong Windows display drivers so the screen was a little glitchy. Didn't matter as I was converting it to Linux anyway. Took a little longer than anticipated to get Fedora working well enough with it. Still have issues to iron out with tablet mode, but that's an operating system issue, not a problem with the laptop itself. Best value for money, for sure.

High performance, long battery life, light weight, cool running, excellent display.
This will be my go to device in the office and will replace my tablet when on the road. The screen is large enough to use for regular work and light enough to take as my travel device. My old 6lb laptop was so hot and heavy that it never left the office.
When folded in tablet mode, it is easy to cover the air vents in the hinge if held with the hinge down on your lap.
The shortened backspace key may be an issue, I have mistakenly hit the home key when trying to backspace.

Great battery life of 12+ hrs using power save settings without noticeable performance degradation (3-4 programs open at a time like email, word, browser, etc); Light & powerful is extremely portable. Love the different use positions. Good sound. Much better than the tablet I replaced it. Though larger, it is not bulky and has more screen real estate. Only problem has been Win 10/virus software issues relating to Internet/network connection. Fixed the Internet and working on network problem but it does not seem to be related directly to computer.

I was in the market for a new notebook/tablet, and was waiting to see what the Surface 4 Pro was going to offer, but I started seeing reviews of the Yoga 900 around the net. I read, and read and was getting very interested - and then Best Buy had (very few) in stock. I knew I was covered if I saw problems with the unit, within the Best Buy return timeframe, so I drove over a town or two to get one. I've had it now a little over a month, and I am very happy. The new Skylake i7, the 512GB SSD and the 16GB RAM make for a smooth and trouble free computing session. Touchpad and screen respond with no problems. Heck, the ONLY gripe I have is the darn SD card slot - It doesn't allow the card to lie flush to the side (so I bought a small factor 128GB USB drive, and it isn't too obtrusive). Everyone at work has been jealous of me since I have started using it - Flip it to Tablet Mode, and they are astonished! Best choice is a 2-in-1 you can make.

I was attracted to the high end model as my full time computer for it's portability and features. There is a little more work for me to set up than I anticipated, but I am gradually leaving my old Toshiba and converting to the Yoga. Keyboard works well and windows 10, while a bit of a learning process, is a much more user friendly system

I got the yoga 900 as an open box item and was in excellent condition. It is great light performing with a 9 hour battery life. I had to update bios because some process was consuming a lot of cpu and causing the fan to run constantly. Easy switch from laptop to tablet mode and nice bright screen. I havent run heavy software on it yet but it is very responsive and well priced compared to similar laptops with same specs.

Not as small and light as I wished...but functions much better than the smaller units. It is quite fast and does start as quickly as a tablet with the capabilities of a laptop. The annoyances and problems I have experienced are because of Windows 10..not the Yoga. Geek Squad helped me out several times. They recommended and did disable SLEEP mode because the Windows 10 program has,a flaw that renders the computer useless when it goes into slept mode...cannot be awakened or turned on after being in sleep mode. Computer was extremely expensive but is excellent.

Very fast, and nice screen. I am coming from a MacBook Pro, and the quality isn't quite as good as a Mac, but still very nice. I like Windows 10 so far. My only dislike, keeping it from getting 5 stars, is that the fan runs almost continually...every time it has to work a bit, the fan runs. A little bit annoying...

Battery life has been running 8-9 hours with regular use. Runs fast, light weight. Amazing resolution on the screen. Not quite 4K, but a big improvement over 1080. Plays nice with Windows 10 and Lenovo have been very good about updating drivers both to work out the little bugs and keep up with the 1115 Win release.

I love this laptop.!
It is hard to believe it could be so thin and light and yet so powerful. The HD+ screen is amazing. The hinge is attractive and sturdy. The battery life is fine considering the display and other features.
I've had a lot of laptops in the past , both for work and home and this one can go anywhere. I researched other similar laptops like the Microsoft Surface and I like the slightly bigger display of this model.
I am very happy with it.
