Through no fault of my own, the screen on my Lenova Yoga 900 developed a crack (within one week of purchase) that originated on the left bottom of laptop screen and extends to to top of screen. Therefore the left 1/3 of my laptop screen does not have touch screen capability. Lenova warranty does not cover this type of damage to fix. I am dissapointed with Lenova manufacturing quality for such an high price laptop. This is an ongoing problem; I have seen many users review with cracked screen issue on Lenova products, and for whatever reason Lenova has not done anything to resolve this cracked screen issues with their laptops.

I bought this computer to use for college where I am going into engineering and I needed a powerful machine that could push the CAD software that we were using. The computer worked like a dream. I would often get a lot of good comments from fellow students about the weight, size and sleekness of the computer. It ran everything very well all the way from simple word documents to several tabs of CAD software open. The only thing that it was lacking was a little more RAM. Mine came with 8gb, which was perfect for everything except for CAD. One day I was using the computer and the fans started running on high, but I thought nothing of it because I was using it heavily. Over the next several days the fans continued running on high, making a lot of noise and draining my battery life (which I usually got 8 good hours out of). The fans would even run on high even after a cold start up and would continue to run on high. I warrantied the computer, and Lenovo was to fix it no questions asked, but instead decided that they were going to exchange it. I got a HP x360 Envy instead, which had comparable specs but more in the areas that I need them. I would recommend this computer because it was light, slim, easy to carry, and really fast. I would not recommend this computer to anyone who is going to be doing a LOT of either CGI or CAD because of the lower ram (unless you opt for the $1500 16gb), or to anyone who does a lot of gaming because the computer simply struggled to push it.

I found this computer on sale. Bought it and have been using it trouble free since purchase. Highly recommended.

I purchased this laptop over Thanksgiving sale and was really happy with my decision to purchase based on my prior-to-purchase online reviews as well as once I got to see and try out the laptop in-person. However, I have noticed that this laptop battery becomes unusually hot right after I turn on the laptop and also drains completely when I put it to sleep. It is a complete disappointment from a new purchase as well as on BestBuy's offering of a product that is essentially defective! I will be calling BestBuy customer service and might have to contact the Lenovo Support team is the brand new laptop is under warranty. However, it does not satisfy me as a tech-savvy customer who spent a decent of time installing new software and making the laptop ready for use. It is lost time and effort without any return; something that BestBuy and Lenovo don't pay back even if I return the product! Very disappointed BestBuy! :-(

The fan noise is really big compare to the Mac Air.

I would never buy a Lenovo again! We have had problems with its ports, its internal systems and now a stress crack on the screen. Terrible product!

first time using out of the box, the screen cracked while opening it up into tablet mode while holding the upper left part of the screen. I don't find many bad reviews on Best Buy or Costco but after searching google and lenovo forums, it appears many are having the same issue which goes back to previous models as well. Nice computer but they need to fix this design flaw, they could've put better support to make the display portion not so delicate and flimsy. Do not let your children near it either. Get the longest protection plan available if you're willing to buy this computer.

I purchased this laptop after researching extensively on web for a laptop. Received it from BestBuy on (11/28). Have been using it for past 2-3 days & I must say the laptop speed is very slow. You won't feel that it has a 6th gen. i7 processor & 8GB RAM. Even my 5 years older laptop runs faster than this.!! Totally regretting my decision. I would really appreciate if you can help BestBuy. Thanks!!

the screen is too fragile. mine just got broke because the cord cable got caught in between the screen at the time of closing the computer and it only took just a little bit of push, nothing hard to crack the screen. I think they should use better quality materials considering it's price. the image quality is amazing, but the computer doesn't have a DVD or blue ray player. it's just too expensive.

I drove 2 hours to a store that had this in stock for Black Friday waited in line about an hour to get in there was only 2 in stock I got one of them I got home opened it up set it up and several of the buttons on the keyboard were non-functioning. I returned the unit but could not get another one so I got a dell and its working fine.

opening to tablet mode the screen broke on first use... went to lenovo and they wanted over $600 to replace, make to buy a screen protector or just buy a different computer like dell or apple. google search yoga cracked screen ... you'll see a very long list of complaints thatbaren't mentioned in the best buy reviews

We are very disappointed with this tv. Picture detail, color sharpness far inferior to previous sharp aquos we had.
