I returned this unit because I really wanted a larger SSD. 1/4 tb was too small for my liking. Do not let my review diswayd you from purchasing this product if you are happy with the smaller hard drive.

So far the Yoga 910 is working just as I had hoped.

This is great product it has really good response.

Straight from the box on the first boot the first thing you will notice is a SUPER loud fan. I had to download a BIOS update to allow "quiet" mode which lowers the fan noise but is still present. Three days after purchase my screen began to flicker periodically. I thought it would be fine, but now a month in I had to take to Geek Squad and they now shipped it out for repairs. Not even a month and my computer is in service.

Would not detect WiFi out of the box. Brought back to Geek Squad who determined bad network card. Exchanged for open box 910SE without hassle. I assume this is a one off issue.

As a student, I needed a computer that was fast, portable, and had an excellent battery life. Speed and Screen This computer has surpassed all of my expectations. Opening large data sets and performing statistical analysis in SPSS has been ridiculously easy since I got this computer. My workflow has increased exponentially and I no longer wait for programs to slowly open up before I can get my work done. I consistently have multiple excel sheets, chrome tabs, pdfs, and SPSS files open and have never experienced so much as a hiccup in performance. The only thing that detracts from my productivity is the fact that watching videos on this laptop is extremely enjoyable with the gorgeous screen, colors are sharp and processing speed makes buffering a thing of the past. I had resevations due to other reviews reporting fan noise. The only time the fan kicks on is when I'm playing games or downloading very large files. Otherwise, havent heard the laptop make a noise. Nothing during my everyday computing including browsing the web, watching video, using microsoft office software, running SPSS, etc. I play light games like Civ 6 and this thing gets the job done. The extra real estate in the small form factor makes a real difference for both work and play. Portability and Battery Life The computer is light. Sometimes i check my backpack after getting into the car to make sure I packed it up. However, there arent really any compromises in build quality. Some may complain about the connectivity, but I put hdmi to usb-c dongles on my cords to my television and work monitor and voila its just as capable as my old computer with an hdmi port. The laptop is solid and beautiful. The trackpad is ridiculously smooth and responsive. Rivaling the performance on my old macbook pro, made the transition seamless honestly. I love the feel and responsiveness of the keyboard as well. Shift-key placement was a real pain and took nearly two weeks to adjust to, but i adjusted and i'm back up to my regular typing speed. Very nice to carry around the house or work one-handed without having to close it up. I think my favorite feature, which adds to the portability, is the battery life. I leave my charger at home, use the computer all day, and have around 40% battery life when I get home. Conclusion This laptop is a beast. I saved up my coins for a while in order to buy a laptop that would boost my productivity as a professional and I have no regrets with this purchase. Old macbook was on its last legs and new macbooks are ridiculously overpriced. Initially, I thought the laptop would be a compromise, but it surpassed my expectations. The look, battery life, performance, and screen real estate make my day to day computing a joy. I do not normally write reviews, but I do realize how stressful a purchase this large can be as a college student trying to get the most bang for you buck and wanted to pass on my experience for those avidly researching which machine to buy. Hope this was in some way helpful

Well designed basic Pentium machine. Slow startup but works well. I use it for internet based electronic medical record and medical programs and it does the job.

Bought today. Started it up. Registered. Error message popped up now this. Pink screen for last 2 hours now. I shut it down, restarted and still same thing.

I completely hate the keyboard design specially the right side shift key, the pace of the power key and most importantly the position of the webcam!!

I have been waiting for this laptop since the CES show. Unfortunately build quality of this product could have been better. Caps on the hinge on the right side fell off after less than a couple of weeks. I was surprised to find them sitting on my bed. Returned the laptop afterward.
