Most everything on this computer is very good. I don't like that it only has one old school shaped USB port. It does have 2 of the newer USB-c connections but none of my old junk use that and I don't like dealing with adapters. I don't like that it doesn't have a SD card slot yet another adapter needed! However I knew these things before I bought it and I made an exception because it seems like the best thing I could find for the money. I think I paid around 1,700 for it. I've had it one year now and it's still working flawlessly. The battery life hasn't changed maybe because I use the battery saver mode which holds it at 60% so it degrades slower than holding it at 100%. I've also disabled fast charge unless I'm short on time which helps improve the lifespan of the battery. The battery life isn't as good as some of the lower powered laptops I was comparing it to but the sound system is so nice and the dedicated graphics card swayed me towards this purchase. The battery last me between 2 and 5 hours depending on what I'm doing. I'm sure it would last a lot longer if I had the screen brightness down and I was just surfing the web but I've never been that easy on it to find out.
The touch screen is very responsive, it boots up really fast and goes in and out of hibernation quickly as well. It hasn't crashed ever. The fan is only noticeable if I'm doing processor-intensive type stuff but it doesn't seem very loud. The stylist is really nice to use in the rare times I need it as well as being able to fold the screen all the way around and use it as a tablet so the people across the table can see the screen as well. Folding it around like this is also useful when bringing it in the car and reprogramming the car's systems because it's kind of cramped sitting there behind the steering wheel with a regular shaped laptop.
It has a 1 terabyte SSD and really awesome speakers. I can set it across the room and do dishes while a movie plays and I can still hear it well. It's the loudest laptop I have ever had and I always aim for getting the best speakers when I buy. The sound is balanced really well you can even hear the low bass tones in my electronic music. Of course you can't feel the bass but you can hear it unlike the other laptops which are completely absent of Base. The screen is bright. Wi-Fi & Bluetooth range is good.
Over all I'm happy with my choice. Over the last decades I've had several laptops that couldn't make it 3 months without showing symptoms of problems. So with this one I'm very happy with its performance and quality.

I can't say enough about this computer. It is super fast, lots of ram, large hard drive, great graphics, flips into a tablet, HAS A PEN INCLUDED and fits right into the computer so you will never forget it. I have been using this computer for about 8 hours a day 5 days a week, for months and have no complaints. White board is installed and is fantastic when you need to draw or take notes without typing.

I love my Lenovo - Yoga 9i 15" 2-in-1 Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti - 1TB SSD. Good video quality, 16Gb ofRAm that makes it run smoothly. And the 1 Terabyte of solid-state-disk is a must have. Also, in tip of that is touchscreen and has a digital pen that lets you draw like when you were a kid. Tholis is an excelent choice.

I was skeptical at first but this laptop has all of the things I need and more for a great price. I didn’t think I’d like the touchscreen and foresaw issues there but it’s a champ! It’s better than any other screen I’ve had on a laptop and doesn’t keep prints which is amazing. There is a neat feature for fingerprint access which has my nerd heart happy. It has the second set of numbers which I’ve noticed a lot of laptops don’t have. The processing speed is amazing. The graphics are great! I was torn between i7 or i9 and torn between storage amounts. This has it all and I paid less than I thought I’d need to for a great laptop. I am glad I went with this one.

This laptop boots up very fast because of the SSD and memory. The i7 processor is very fast. I had a difficult time finding all the features that I wanted in a computer and had almost given up all hope until I found this one. The only thing I don't like is the fonts are way too small with it set in its recommended resolution. I still have some programs that some screens are still too small but I think I can deal with it. It was an open box product and was located about 40 minutes away. So far I am pleased with it.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 9i-15, model number 82DE0009US, ships with a 4CELL_69WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, which within this configuration, has a battery life of up to 13 hours, depending on the work the device is performing. If you are getting substantially less battery life, first, set your screen brightness at less than 100-percent - try 80-percent to start with. Then, be sure Battery conservation Mode is turned off. This power management setting should only be used when the laptop is plugged in all the time. It will prolong overall battery life by only charging the battery to 60-percent of capacity. Here is a link to instructions for turning off Battery Conservation Mode: https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/solutions/ht103159. Also check what programs are running in the background on the computer. Be sure only the programs you want running in the background are. These programs will drain the battery. Here is a link to information about how to find out what programs are running in the background on your Windows 10 computer and how to manage them for better system performance: https://www.windowscentral.com/how-prevent-apps-running-background-windows-10. Then, finally, be sure any software you installed is compatible with Windows 10. Incompatible software will drain the battery at a faster rate. There is no need to install Microsoft Office software. The software is already part of the operating system, you just need to activate the software with a purchased product key. If you have installed a copy of Microsoft Office, this is conflicting with the existing copy on the system and this will slow your system down. If you have installed a 3rd party anti-virus program, be sure that Windows Defender is turned off and that the trial version of McAfee Anti-Virus software is uninstalled. There can only be one anti-virus program on the system. You may need to restore your system to original factory default settings if any of the programming errors have occurred. You can do that by typing "restore" in the Cortana search window. Just click on the magnifying glass icon at the bottom left of your Windows 10 Desktop. Click on "Reset This PC" Then click on "Get Started" and follow the on screen directions to restore to factory defaults. If the problem persists, we recommend you contact Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Lemon Laptop -- Lenovo Refused to Replace / Refund

I purchased a Lenovo Yoga 9i from Best Buy in August 2021. Within the first week, the motherboard failed and a technician had to repair. Within two months, the screen failed. Another repair. A few months later the screen failed again and the USBC drive was faulty. Those were repaired .. twice. Since then, the motherboard was replaced and the screen twice more. After the third repair, I asked for a replacement, and Lenovo declined. After the fifth repair, I was adamant I wanted a full refund, and Lenovo declined. The company has been terrible to deal with and I will never buy another product from them again. Today, my computer has a failed screen and now I'm out of warranty. I have filed a complaint with the FTC and plan to reach out to the WI consumer protection bureau, because I was sold a lemon and the company has refused to make reasonable accommodations. Avoid this company, buy HP or any other brand before you buy Lenovo!

I have a Yoga 2 and this is a much better product. First the 15 inch screen with nvida dedicated graphics makes this suitable for just about anything you want to do. The speaker array gives it much improved sound. Plus the bio-metrics gives you improved security and the 10th gen i7 processor is fast...16 GB ddr 4, 1 TB ssd! I've read about the battery not lasting as long but haven't had a problem...then again I never expect to get the battery life they advertise!

Great laptop with powerful performance. Many of the lower reviews complain about poor battery life and/or not a great upgrade over the c940 from last year. However, for the specs/performance the battery is really not terrible - I get ~6 to 8 hours with general use. Comparing to the c940: I bought the c940 in July for my girlfriend, and they are pretty much identical except for the larger hard drive (1,000 vs 500 GB) and the slightly faster graphics card (1650 vs 1650TI). Most people won't notice the difference unless you are a power user or need the extra space.
I use the 9i to run R, Python, STATA for school & work as well as general use such as web browsing and streaming. There have been no issues and if you need more performance, you should build a desktop instead.
The fan does kick on and make some noise, but I'd rather hear a fan than have my laptop overheat.
Pros:
1- Beautiful screen - very responsive with the included stylus
2- Powerful - dedicated GPU and fast SSD handles heavy workloads and gaming
3- Newer wifi card, no degredation
4- 1 TB SSD
5- Fast charging
6- Comfortable backlit keyboard with no flex
7- Accurate touchpad
8- Fingerprint sensor & webcam shutter
Cons:
1- Battery life (although this is expected for a high-performance 2 in 1)
2- The magnetic clamshell makes it hard to open with the minimal design
3- Price is steep if there are no promotions
4- Trackpad was broken on purchase (BestBuy was great about swapping out same day with a new laptop)
5- Most users won't see a difference from the c940 - but if you have an older model it is definitely worth the upgrade

The Lenovo Yoga 9i-15 model number 82DE0009US, ships with a 4CELL_69WH_INTERNAL, Lithium Polymer Battery, with a battery life of up to 13 hours depending on the work the device is performing. There is a Webcam lip at the front of the lid on the Yoga 9i-15 for easy opening. Obviously, the touchpad on the Yoga 9i-15 should work upon initial activation. Try tapping the HotKey in the F6 position on the keyboard. This toggles the touchpad function on/off. If the issue continues we recommend scanning the computer for software/hardware issues with the installed Lenovo Vantage Utility Software. Finally, you can use Lenovo Q-Control to manually control fan and system performance: ( Fn + Q ) option to change the fan by undervolting the processor. If the issue continues, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Had two Lenovo Yogas in my lifetime and the second one, this one, the Yoga 9i just died on me and decided to stop charging over night. Luckily I had most of my files saved on OneDrive and was able to recover a vast majority of the files. This Lenovo Yoga 9i is a sleek design and l especially liked the 10-key feature. I would have gotten another one, but decided to move to Samsung Galaxy Book3 instead since I am a Samsung Android mobile phone user. Lenovo just didn't do well for me the 2nd time around, and I had only bought it in 2021 and it died on my 2023.

I'm really enjoying this computer. I was upgrading to this from my Lenovo Yoga 900, and this model improves on some of the things I struggled with on my older computer. Mainly, the trackpad. I forgot how nice it was to use a trackpad and not have to rely on my mouse or touchscreen.
I also love the built-in pen. It takes a little bit to get used to the size, but aside from that works great. The palm rejection is also great with the screen when writing with the pen, but I can also go back to my finger easily.
The battery life on this computer has been great, the display is nice, and the keyboard is nice to type on. The computer downloads data and runs quickly, even when video editing, and overall I don't have any major complaints. The fingerprint reader is also a nice touch, allowing me to get into my computer really quickly.
There have been some idiosyncrasies with the audio at times - sometimes when I have wired headphones or earbuds they take a second to start playing the audio of videos in the photo viewer (this does not happen when watching YouTube or other apps though, or when I have Bluetooth headphones connected). This may be some sort of driver issue on my end, I'm not sure, just wanted to mention that it's not perfect. Sometimes the screen also blinks off if I touch the edge of it, I think because the computer thinks I closed the lid. However, after a few seconds the computer comes back to life and I just put my finger on the fingerprint reader.
I've been using it for about a month now and haven't noticed any major issues. However, I do recommend buying a port extender if you use a lot of devices at once with your computer because there is a general lack of ports. Overall, very pleased with my purchase and recommend this computer if the specs fit for your desired needs.

Thank you for choosing the Lenovo Yoga 9i 15. Be sure to keep the Operating System software up to data on your laptop to keep it running optimally. Check to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10 on the computer. Then update all BIOS files and drivers up to that latest version of Windows 10. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. If the issue still continues after these updates, we recommend you call Lenovo Premium Care at: 888-278-9707.

This is a great laptop. I like that it can be folded and used as a tablet and that it has the touch-screen capability. It is so convenient. The screen is very clear, and the color is good. I have not had any issues with the memory or storage (or anything) with this laptop. I had a different brand of touch-screen tablet before, and it was very bulky and heavy. This one is not bulky or heavy at all. I do wish it came with a sleeve like my previous one did, but I purchased a case for it, so it's all good.

From the time that I saw this computer, it knew this computer was for me. I saw that it had great build quality, this computer is built to last. With the 2 in 1 you get the best of both worlds, a laptop and a tablet , fingerprint , great touch screen , and all the graphics of a gaming computer. This computer is really fast, faster that my old computer which has the same processor. I don't believe you can go wrong with this computer and I have zero complaints. I have read other reviews about the fans, I will say when you are playing a game they do kick in, but I don't believe that is a a deal breaker bc other similar computers with these same specs are the exact same way. So I really do recommend this computer, it is worth the money and it is a computer that will last you for a very long time.
