Sometimes it gets stuck in a boot loop but windows update solved that issue. I’ve been researching products the last two months looking for something that would fit my needs. Best Buy is a great place to get hands on with the products. Best Buy had this product on sale. Instead of buying it from a Best Buy in a different city I went back to my local Best Buy and they would not honor the sale price the other had. Although I had a dated picture of the sale price with the same number.

You can keep your computer running at its best by keeping the Windows 10 Operating System and all supporting BIOS files and drivers up to date. You can easily accomplish this by scanning the computer with the Lenovo Utility software available on this computer. This system has Lenovo utilities installed to help maintain the health of the device and keep the operating system software up to date. Type "Lenovo Vantage" in the Cortana Search window (if Lenovo Vantage is not installed on your device, you can download the APP and install it now). Select Lenovo Vantage from the list. In the window that opens, click on "Health and Support". In the expanded menu, select "Hardware Scan" In the window that opens, select "Run Quick Tests". This will scan your entire system for errors. Follow any directions that may pop up. If the problem continues after this scan, now click on "System Update". First select Windows update from the menu. Scan your system to be sure you have the latest version of Windows 10. Once that scan is complete, select "Additional Updates". This will scan your device to be sure there are no new BIOS/Driver updates needed. Follow any instructions that may pop up. I had to wait on my old laptop when maneuvering around . Although I only use it casually (browsing, shopping, paying bills, etc.) it's so nice that I complete things so quickly. I love the size. My old one is a 15.6" but I can see this one much better. The screen is so clear and bright, the detail is fantastic. It's great to have a lighted keyboard too. I don't want a keyboard without it being lighted. Battery life seems to be very good. I haven't measured it but I can use it for a very long time and the charge will only be down to 85%. It recharges quickly. I would not hesitate to buy it again!

This exceeded some expectations I had. Instead of downloading Microsoft office, I'm using the Office365 (which is so much better IMO). I hope this laptop can last. The camera installed is okay. I will say the microphone installed is terrible, so please get something to accomodate that.

I confess I never liked the watchband-style hinge on the original 900 series but I love the current hinge with the soundbar built in. The 14" size is comfortable to use on the road, while being thin and light. I have been using it only for about a month, but I'm so happy with it that I'd make the same purchase choice again today.

After a month of use, I remained very pleased with this computer. It is fast and reliable. I use it for work and personal use. It took a little learning to work with newer layout. The limited number of USB connections (USB-C and 1 USB A) was a concern, but an aftermarket hub was easy to find. The USB-C has the added convenience of being able to charge my cell phone.

This model was recommended by my IT person, and the quick process of ordering, confirming, and curbside pickup was just stellar. And the computer itself has been wonderful. I keep forgetting that the screen is also a touch-screen, so I end up moving various windows around when I'm just trying to remove a speck of dust. :-) But once I get used to that, this is perfect for my work. There's plenty of ports for external devices, and the screen is really clear and bright.

Light, nice keyboard, excellent performance, pretty good battery life, no bloatware....does everything you want it to do. The single best thing about it is the way they tuned it for smartphone like fast startup! It's literally instantaneous start from sleep! Love it! The only improvement I would like to see is it gets hot/needs fan to easily. Quality/construction 5/5 Battery 4/5 Screen 4/5 Performance 5/5 Keyboard 4/5 Heat management 3/5

Be sure to keep the cooling vent on the bottom clear. You can also manually control the cooling performance by using Lenovo Q-Control. You can use Lenovo Q-Control to manually control fan performance: ( Fn + Q ) option to change the fan. If the issue continues, we recommend you call Lenovo Tech Support at: 877-453-6686.

Awesome little laptop

It is small enough and light enough to be easy to carry around and use while lounging on the couch. The touch screen works well as well as the touch pad. Only complaints I have are minor. 1. It would be nice to have a USB-C port on the right side so just to make it more convenient to plug in the charging cable. 2. The front edge of the laptop is a little on the sharp side so if you are resting your hand on the edge while just using the touch pad to browse the web or something it starts to kind of dig into your palms.

Great looking, light weight, stunning display

Yoga C940 display colors are so vibrant. Absolutely love it. The 14 inch is perfect for screen size. I love the weight of this laptop. Tablet mode is actually pretty nice since it's so light weight. Sound is great. I heard a lot about the heat + fan noise and it held true. It mainly happened when using the laptop while the power is plugged in which is mostly how I use it. After research, many said that updating the BIOS did the trick for them. I checked the BIOS and it had a Jan or Feb 2020 date so I knew it was outdated. I installed the latest BIOS (8/18/2020) and that fixed the issue. That was my main worry when buying this laptop so I am happy it appears to be resolved.. I also put it on conservative battery mode and intelligent cooling. The only things I am not liking so far are very minor. They are: -For some reason the windows updates won't find the 2004 or 20H2 update. It's stuck on 1909. Not sure why that is. -My mail app keeps saying there is an update. I click it and then click the update button. Nothing happens. -When I used the Lenovo Vantage app to look for updates, it did not find the BIOS update that I referred to earlier. I had to google for it and download it from the website. Odd that Vantage did not find it. Hopefully the 20H2 update eventually installs. I could always install it manually downloading it and perhaps I will. The other thing that is great is that the tablet auto rotate actually works. I had purchased and envy which I returned and auto rotation failed to work. I'd manually update the auto rotation settings in the registry which would temporarily fix it but then it would have trouble again. The Yogas never have any trouble so it seems so far. I absolutely love this laptop. Thank you Lenovo!

This, the Dell XPS, and the HP Spectre. The c940 had 12gb ram which I liked, and the build quality is a standout as well. Also, it came with the active pen, unlike the XPS. And I like the warranty support prices that Lenovo has available. Again, the build quality is amazing, the sound is exceptional for a laptop, and the size/weight makes it an easy commute laptop as well.

Was able to transfer all my legacy files without any loss. Secure in knowing they are there for support when I have issues or need help. The security features, the touch screen and the finger print login are three of my favorite features. Perfect screen size and weight for ease of portability but also large enough to review documents and watch videos. Exactly what I needed to solve both my home and travel needs in one device.

This laptop holds up well when running it hard. It is also great to have a touch screen to have more freedom for creating in Photoshop and other Adobe software. I originally bought the Yoga C940 with the 12GB storage. I definitely believe that the upgrade was worth it considering the type of use that I needed.

It was time to upgrade, though, and I couldn't be happier with this one. The overall footprint is smaller than my last one, but the screen is bigger due to the bezeled edge being very thin. It is quick, snappy, has a HUGE battery life, and I love the touchscreen capability and included stylus. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a powerful laptop that is great for on the go and can handle all of your personal and business needs.
