I was loaned my sisters laptop which a Toshiba Satellite 2-in-1. It had a fanning issue which ended up being replaced by my dad. Used it as my go to laptop for school. Unfortunately, it couldn't hold up to the amount of tabs I have open for my homework. At 8 gigs it was really slow. Thanks to my Fafsa, I was able to obtain a neat upgrade to my sisters aging Toshiba. The Lenovo Yoga had been in my radar for a while. Sporting a 12 gig ram and the newest Intel Core processor, it ran so many tabs without fail! Quick start up as well as a quick shut down. It's built it pen garage is an awesome plus, since I could now do digital art on a bigger screen instead of my phone! It was either this laptop or the Dell Inspiron 7000 2-in-1. But this laptop was on sale so I couldn't pass up the opportunity! Sound quality is also amazing! It has a 360 speaker bar which allows me to listen either in front or behind the laptop if I wanted! Very good audio for something in a laptop! Light up keys are just as a necessity since I usually do my creative writing at night! Overall, after a month, I have had no issues with this laptop and it boosted through my current semester in college with speed! Note: It can run games that are not graphics intense!

It is a very powerful laptop with a great touchscreen with narrow bezels, a housed pen, and a comfortable keyboard. However, the speakers that connect the screen to the keyboard is somewhat loose. I am not sure if it is something I can fix by myself, but it worries me when I move the screen. It might just be some loose elements. The trackpad is not the best. I love how large it is, but then your hand touches the large trackpad while you are trying to click, which becomes frustrating after a while. The camera resolution is pretty bad. Overall, for the price, it probably is the best available laptop with these specs at the moment.

This is a great laptop that performs well. For the price, I think it should have 16gb memory, not 12gb. But in everyday normal use, I suppose I wouldn't be able to tell a difference. I didn't try to run games though, in which case the extra memory would be more appreciated (since this laptop uses integrated graphics and shares the same memory). I preferred the iron grey color to the mica color you get with the other models...the keyboard letters are easier to read. The screen looked great and battery life was great too. I did end up returning it because Best Buy put the latest version of this laptop on sale (Lenovo i9), with the newest Tiger Lake processor, which offered improved performance, graphics, and battery life. With the price difference of <$100, it was a no-brainer to spring for the Tiger Lake model, even if it only came in Mica color! But, if you can get this model at a good sale, I don't believe it will disappoint.

This was my first time buying a Lenovo laptop and boy let me tell you, IT WAS WORTH IT!. The yoga c940 is a beast at what it do best. It is very responsive. Turn on and load in under 10 second. I was even beginning to wonder if this was even a Windows laptop. The 2 in 1 functionality is a give away. When you wanna draw or design some stuff this is made easy and include a touch pen that is point blank accurate. **Display** The display is stunning bright and beautiful to work with. It fact, it is very detail and rich picture in quality. I can't complain much except only hiccups with display is that it is reflective so you might want to get an anti-glare screen protector. **Design** The lightest laptop i ever used. I can easily take it with me and store with no problems. Just note that it will show touch impression from residue/sweat mark from your finger etc but easy clean with one wipe. **Battery** This is quiet impressive. This whole day battery and fast charge. I used pc for development and i am compiling lot of code and running application that drink battery like juice and it survived 9 to 10 hours of development torture.

Smooth touch screen , great battery life and a speedy monster.

This PC by far uses Windows 10 more efficiently than any other PC owned. Very light weight and very quiet. Touch screen is more advanced than previously owned laptops as well. Lenovo’s set up process was very easy to use. We have been using it for about a month and can honestly say we don’t have any cons at the moment.

The laptop has been an excellent laptop for a college Engineering student. The functionality of also using it like a 'tablet' has been quite useful for note-taking, etc when a laptop would be less convenient. Is very fast too; responsiveness is great ... no annoying delays.

I have been using this about a month and totally fall in love with it. Very light, fast and portable! I use it much more than I use my macbook pro now. The battery lasts about a day if I use only basic things such as checking emails, using power point or microsoft word. I also carry to work sometimes and it's very light.

I have had this laptop for almost two months. I have been a die hard HP user but this Lenovo Yoga C940 is fabulous! I love its speed, size, 2 in 1 feature. The keyboard is very user friendly and back-light on the keys make them easy to see in any light. I chose the Iron Gray one and it looks fabulous!!

When our daughter in college called to say her 2 yr. old Asus laptop was toast during the first week of the Covid stay at home quarantine, thank goodness for this laptop replacement being available as well as curbside pickup! She's happy it's light weight, fast and she can do her studies at home.

i love this laptop!! i didnt think i would like the touch screen but now i can't imagine life without it. everything works as expected and i have no complaints. very fast compared to my old mac book. great interface, i love the screen and light weight

I've had this beauty for almost a month now and so far I'm pretty happy with it. I use it for drawing, talking notes, reading and web surfing and the battery lasts a very long time for me. It's very fast to turn on and to bring up programs and web pages. Autodesk sketchbook works great on it. I've only had 2 issues so far. 1. When switching it back to desktop mode when I'm done in tablet mode it sometimes just doesn't, or the mouse will disappear until i either restart it, or close and open it. And 2. The screen brightness didn't seem to be that bright; i tried to mess with display settings but i only made things worse.. I think I just need to look into it more because i don't know too much when it comes to those issues. I absolutely recommend it though.

I love this laptop is very light and versatile. Can work like a laptop pad or computer. The pen is very helpful if you like any drawings apps...touchscreen. My daughter need a mouse that i bought separate because of the games that she have...roblox minecraft

It works like a dream. It's light and beautiful. It's fast. It has a pen and a backlit keyboard. The sound is great. It uses Windows 10 so it's fairly easy to use. I got it on sale and saved $299.00. If you need a new laptop 2 in one get this one you won't be sorry.

I purchased my Lenovo C940 as an upgrade to my Dell Inspiron. Having bought 2 Dell laptops in the past 3 years, I decided I wanted something more reliable with a better battery rating, sound system, and did not overheat with my usage (watching YT videos, listening to music, and doing loads of research during my undergrad/grad program for 8-10 hours a day). When I got the Lenovo, about a week ago, I had issues right from the start. I'll start with the screen issues. Out of the box, there was screen flickering at the top of my screen - which apparently is a common Lenovo issue - though mine does not seem as bad as others. I went through many recommendations on how to fix the issue ranging from uninstalling and updating the graphics drivers, uninstalling the Intel graphics driver and using the basic Windows driver (which I could then not adjust the brightness at all because that is a common Windows issue, lol), to doing a complete system reset and reinstalling Windows 10 and all the updates & drivers. Lenovo recommends both installing and reinstalling the Intel graphics driver and reinstalling windows so I thought surely it would work. Nope. As it turns out, the screen flickering was 99% fixed with adjusting the refresh rate - which is a lot less hassle but really unacceptable to have a computer of these specifications running on 48hz instead of 60hz. I am not a gamer so this is not a problem, but for those who are, 48hz is probably not going to cut it. Second screen issue, or complaint...the automatic adjusting brightness. I have searched all over this laptop and there is no adjustment for it - and it causes all of the flickering when adjusting lighter on a standard 60hz refresh rate. I've been in windows settings, Intel's graphics settings, power settings...all of it. I've done numerous searches on this and a lot of people don't seem to have the option to turn it off like myself. Super annoying. Last with the screen, the color. This caused a lot of frustration. Out of the box, again, the color was way off on the saturation and the color. Though this wasn't apparently noticeable when browsing the internet, watching YT or doing video chats made it very apparent.....everyone either looked like they were sunburned or jaundiced (and it was dark despite the screen being on full brightness - and no it's not the videos/YT because I tried them on multiple laptops). It took me a long time to adjust these settings as the calibration settings required an "on-screen display" that I could not seem to pull up despite using the product manual. I ended up using the Intel graphics command center to adjust the color calibration but found it highly annoying to have to adjust a dozen or so different aspects of the display....on a brand new laptop. It is still not to my preferred standard and my Dell absolutely wins the quality in this area. The touchpad. I like the touchpad much more than my previous Dells' [in terms of consistency of the physical surface] but it oftentimes seems to lag a bit and the curser will jump. I have adjusted the sensitivity settings [per Lenovo instructions] and that did not fix the problem. It's not a huge deal but it should not be happening on a $1300 laptop. Those are the main problems I encountered. And just in case it's suggested by Lenovo, I have updated the laptop per the standards it requires and there are no further updates [to anything] needed. The good things I can say about the Lenovo C940 are its sound system is top-notch, its design is great, and its fan with "Intelligent Cooling" works very well (for my usage, so far) - all of which my Dell Inspiron lacked on. Overall, once some of the issues were addressed, the laptop is fine for what I need - but whether I will buy another Lenovo again is still up in the air. Had all of these Covid-19 restrictions not been going on I probably would have looked into returning it for another brand - though, for my budget, Dell is the only other option with the specifications that I need. And as a fulltime student, sending it in to be looked at isn't possible either...and it really shouldn't be a problem with a brand new laptop anyway (sending in for repairs, reinstalls, etc). So, that's my experience with this model so far.

Lenovo Yoga C940 (14”) Laptop is an excellent slim, premium 2 in 1 laptop, with extended battery life upto 11+ hours. It has a crisp display of 400 nits and colors are vivid. It has Crisp, dynamic speakers, which is best in class with any windows laptops in this segment. It has two Thunderbolt 3 ports and a USB Type-A port. I enjoyed using the Yoga C940's clicky, backlit keyboard. They offer a decent amount of travel considering how thin the laptop is, and their generous spacing can accommodate small and large hands alike. Bottom line: I really like the Yoga C940. It's the sort of laptop that will fit just about anyone, from students to business users and content creators. It has a premium chassis, a beautiful display (especially the 4K option), strong performance and long battery life. On top of that, the Yoga C940's unique features, a stylus garage and webcam cover, help it stand out from the alternatives.

The Lenovo C940 14" is extremely versatile and has made my work at home time much more palatable than if I was still using one of my other laptops. The C940 probably has more power and memory than I will ever need and it will hopefully be usable for several years. The sound is very good for a laptop, something you will realize if you switch from the Yoga to using just about any other laptop. I never knew my other two laptops sounded so bad! The keyboard on the Yoga is very comfortable and I am getting good battery life, around 8 or 9 hours doing general browsing and productivity work. I haven't really tried the included pen yet but I have watched a few videos with the device in "tent mode." The versatility of the C940 is outstanding. If you can afford the price, I highly recommend the Yoga C940. It can probably handle everything you throw at it, is well built, and should last a good long time.

I am so glad I got this laptop. The IPS is vivid, its light but sturdy. The keyboard is very satisfying to type on. It charges fast and between the 10th gen i7, 12gb ram and SSD - things are snappy and quick, even with 300 tabs open

Amazing battery life, (all day of heavy use, or 2 days of in and out of back pack here and there for classes). Super fast, great speakers. Feels as good as my MacBook Pro build wise but with touchscreen and windows. Love it! Highly recommend

absolutely best laptop I have ever owned. It is super quick and the batt last so long even if I'm playing a game for a while. One of my most prized possessions!!! Worth every penny.
