Great battery life, confusing smart software

It almost matches the macbook air (M1) that I was upgrading from. If you can snag a sale, this machine far outpaces any storage/RAM config you can get on a macbook air. At full MSRP, I would be a little hesitant if you don't need the higher quantity SSD/RAM Windows sucks, but it's not noticeably worse with Lenovo. At least, if you choose to NOT enable the other "smart" stuff. Windows Hello is nice, but does not replace Apple's Touch ID. The battery profiles are fine but it's not clear what combination of lenovo/windows performance profiles are good. For example, if I enable the lenovo battery saver profile through lenovo vantage, do I also need to use energy saver in windows or is it best to leave it off? I try to only use one or the other.

Light to medium gaming is amazing on the great high refresh rate screen. Lightweight laptop for the screen size. Highly recommended. Possibly one or two generations away from being perfect. I'd say one or two generations worth of APU updates along with TB5 would make this a great pc for many years.

I am a little disappointed that the cntrl button the right side is a victim of the 'copilot' button, it could use more USB (but it meets the listed specs) and I am not sure if its a windows 11 thing or the laptop, but the power button seems to just get ignored at times (I'm sure there are reasons, but it creates the 'feel' that I don't have the ultimate ability to force it to do anything).

Battery life is amazing and can last me 2 days without charging. the display is [pretty nice too although not OLED the IPS gives it better battery life and doesn't look bad..

Never going back to Apple

Lenovo is a clear choice for decent quality business machine so I started looking around. This computer has better features and is nearly half the price of the equivalent Macbook. Fantastic screen, it's a bit reflective but I was able to get a screen protector that diminishes the reflectivity very well. Best Buy prices and customer services have also been great. This was an easy purchase-

But I want to emphasize that it’s a fantastic device. Beautiful Display, Fantastic thermals so it stays much cooler than other laptops and I’ve tried multiple high end laptops with a thin chassis and this one by far stays the coolest.
