I wouldn't buy this again. It is way too dark on the screen to the point where you can't make out some of the scenes. Otherwise it's fine. Don't remember it being this way at the movies.

Not a bad movie to rent. It gets a little boring after the first hour though. Make sure to do your research before watching.

If you like musical dialogue throughout it is a great film. Not mine or my daughter's thing. Still very well done.

The book was better. Trust me. It's not the worst thing I've ever seen, but it's not going on the display shelf in our house. Don't tell my wife.

My wife wanted this movie and she'd give it five starts. I hated it and would only give it one. That is how I came up with my three star rating.

A good visual rendition of the book. Not really for the musical fan except for Samantha Barks vocal performances.

This was a great movie overall, however, I'm a little bit on the fence with the actors singing all the dialogue.

Not a big fan but well made. Singing was ok but probably could have had better actors.

Bought this for my daughter for Christmas, she loved it

It was ok but no Frank Lyold Weber music. I love musicals but not this type, I love the thought of leaving the theather with a song in my heart and mind. They did a great job on the story and scenes , but the one Liam Neison made years ago, was GREAT. A movie and story line and didn't sing every line.

The visuals are spectacular, but this is a MUSICAL without the music…sorry. A lot of big names and some great acting, but if you want to be blown away by the soaring melodies and fantastic choral scenes look elsewhere.
