Les Mis is absolutely incredible on stage, and the movie captures that energy while showing things that wouldn't be possible without cinema magic. Very well acted...and it helps that Russel Crowe and Amanda Seyfried are two of my favorite actors!

enjoyed it more than I thought I would. Very impressed with Anne Hathaways singing, the sets, the cinematography and the music. The movie did tend to drag on a bit, and I did not like that every word was sung. I enjoy musicals, but this was like the opera.

This is a great dramatic musical with an all star cast. The cinematography is visually interesting and the quality is great but it is not a depiction of a beautiful era. The story is very intense. This is probably not a movie for family night with the kids.

This movie is a must see! It is a perfect enactment of mercy and grace. The characters are so good. The theme of redemption and mercy run throughout the story. You will be in tears while watching this.

I didn´t believe my wife's genuine admiration for this movie (I didn´t watch at theaters). But after I accepted to watch the first 30 minutes, I understand the magnificent movie that was made.

This is every version of the movie I need. Blu-ray for the big screen, digital for the backup drive, and uv for travel. Literally, exactly what I was looking for.

Most musicals do not adapt well for the big screen. This is THE exception. The cast does a wonderful job in their roles and help to make the story come to life.

This is the most recent movie version of Les Mis, and overall it was very well done. Easy to follow the plot, excellent music, and for as long as the movie is it won't feel like you get into a lull at any point. Worth having in your collection.

This is a story that has trancended time itself. The acting is amazing, the signing beyond reproach and the cinematogrophy breath-taking. You owe yourself to get this movie without hesitation!

I really liked this film adoption from the musical. only downfalls I can think of is probably Russel Crowe's singing and some stories were cut short. But all is understandable since this is for film and each actor has their own way to portray them.

My son was involved with a children's production of Les Mis this past fall, but has never seen the Musical. He was glad to receive this as a Christmas gift.

This is one of my favorite movies and this was the cheapest price I have ever seen for it. Picture is great sound good. Just a really great deal.

I've seen the live production. I'd also seen the movie version and was thrilled I could get this on Black Friday for a mere $5. I can watch this wonderful, moving movie whenever I want.
