A very nice picture quality, nice sound quality.
However the controls are a pain to use. The controls are on the right side of the monitor, so every time we pick it up we end up in one of the set up modes. Also the 'ring' for adjusting the camera angles is very hard to use. I have to push the adjust camera icon, and then use just my fingernail (the control is way too small for a mans finger) to adjust the camera to just the right angles.

Our floors are so squeaky that every time I walked in to my daughters room to check on her she would wake up. So I was really excited to finally upgrade to a video monitor. After setting up the monitor I found the camera and the monitor would connect only if I were in the same room. No point in having a video monitor that doesn't work if I'm down the hall. I returned it the very next day. Very disappointing.

Works well enough, the controls are not as straightforward as they could be. The right side has 3 touchscreen buttons in a column with an actual raised ring button for controlling pan, zoom, etc on the bottom right corner. When it is dark, the 3 touchscreen buttons to the side that control whether you use the speaker, pan, or settings only stay lit for a few seconds, and then you have to guess where they are. On this same note, the touchscreen pan button you first have to press then move down to the ring button (actual raised ring) and use it or it reverts back to adjusting the volume within a few seconds. Annoying, but can deal with. Finally, the LCD screen is not a touchscreen, you have to use the ring button to navigate through it (but you have to touch the touchscreen settings button to the right first to get there). Either have the entire thing be touchscreen, or actual raised buttons, but a combination of both does not work very well together especially when the touch ones go dark, and let's face it, you will be trying to use this thing in the dark fairly often

This was the worst baby monitor I have ever seen. The microphone is so sensitive that even sounds from other rooms would trigger the monitor and turn it on (made it very difficult to sleep since the monitor would just keep turning on and off throughout the night). The signal was poor as well. The monitor would lose signal completely all the time which was very frustrating. I returned it after one week!

Avoid Levana

We chose a Levana baby monitor for our first child who was born 1/25/18. A couple months later we started having difficulty charging the monitor unit. Less than six months after our baby was born, the unit stopped charging altogether. I contacted Levana, and they sent a replacement unit since it was within warranty.
A couple months after getting the replacement unit, once again, we started having difficulty charging the monitor unit. Less than six months after getting the replacement, the unit again stopped charging altogether. I contacted Levana, and even though it was beyond the original warranty, they sent a third unit. They explicitly stated there would not be a warranty for a third unit. This was concerning to me based on the experience with the first two units, but I had no choice.
Now, less than six months after receiving the third unit, the unit is on the brink of the exact same failure as the first two. I contacted Levana today and was told the unit is out of warranty, and they cannot do anything to help me.
I strongly recommend any other baby monitor over any Levana brand baby monitor.
