We had an older microwave that worked fine, but we put in a new countertop and she preferred a unit that took up less counter space. that was the main reason for the purchase. so....for a small unit it works OK. a little noisy when you first start it up, but then the noise softens. only had it for a month now

It is slightly smaller on the inside than I was expecting, but it's fine for leftovers on a standard dinner plater or a microwaveable meal. The chrome veneer is glued on and a piece did fall off--possibly due to the heat in my office (A/C has been broken), but it has stayed on for two weeks since I re-affixed it.

I live in an old house that has limited countertop space. This microwave fit great and heats great!

My 25-year old microwave finally gave out, so after reading reviews on various models & brands, I opted for this one. Obviously, takes up much less countertop space than my 25yr old version! Easy to use, very modern looking too!

This LG countertop microwave was small enough to fit in a cabinet cutout area and it seemed to be well made compared to other lower price units that have failed after a year. We have had this unit for 5 months and it still runs great so far. However, it is lower power than previous units we had and it takes a little longer to cook and defrost foods. A really good unit for the sub-$100 range.

I only use a microwave as a glorified popcorn maker and to heat up vegetables and a few snacks (pizza rolls or occasional pot pie) for my son. Did not want an over the stove type and wanted it to take up little room on the counter. This definitely serves the purpose and hides easily next to the frig on a counter space away from my general work area in the kitchen. Works fine for the purpose and priced nicely as well.

We needed a new compact microwave. The LG was an upgrade from the one we had. Living in a small apartment our appliances have to be chosen wisely. Using it everyday since we bought it; we are very satisfied. Cooks well, looks great and easy to clean. So far we are proud of our little investment!

I needed a small low wattage microwave and this totally met that criteria. Works great and easy to clean.
