My wife and I were impressed with how quiet this unit was when we first used it. The built in cooking sensors made cooking certain foods even easier. The only minor drawback is the black push button panel is not lit so depending on where it's located on the counter it's hard to see what buttons you are pushing when programming the settings. The interior is spacious and can hold large items with ease.

We wanted a good looking medium size microwave that had at least 1000w and a food sensor. This unit really fit the bill. Great looking stainless finish and a rounded interior gives you added space and very easy to clean. Highly recommended.

Works great, really like it. It's noisier than our last cheap one, but works much better!! We have only had it a couple months, but would highly recommend it. Nice and large (similar to an over the range) but fit the size cabinet we wanted to put it in.

Purchased this microwave after the one we had for years stopped working. After reading several reviews of this and other microwaves we decided on this one for its combination of finish, power, and size. Some of the reviews we read described the buttons as being hard to read; we have had no issues being able to read the buttons and our kitchen lacks bright lighting. I would highly recommend this microwave as it is extremely quiet and fits in great with the rest of our stainless appliances.

We bought this microwave which is smaller and very simple which fits our lifestyle. It is very powerful and has worked flawlessly for the past 3 years. The only thing that we do not like about this microwave is the door opening and closing is very loud. I work midnights and sometimes try to heat up food without waking the family. The door has a very loud spring snapping type sound when opening and closing. If you do not care about the door being loud I would say this microwave is definitely for you.

We like the size and it's easy to program. Ours seems to be very loud, so we think there is an issue and may exchange it.

Bought this to fit a specific space and match my other stainless and black appliances. It works well and is easy to run in that it operates likes most microwaves. The only negative I've noticed so far is that the glass plate makes a dragging noise as the carousel turns during operation. If you stop the microwave and nudge the plate a little it will sometimes stop but not always. This hasn't seemed to affect the operation yet but it is a little annoying. Other than that it works great.

I love this new microwave!, It is simply gorgeous to look at, love the new design and the interior color which is easier to clean and not likely to stain like my old microwave. Lots of new cooking options as well.

Our purchase of this oven was made based on size and features. As always read reviews both good and bad so we will see. Have owned a little over a month and as others have said it is loud and it vibrates,ck'd for loose points but cabinet just likes to rattle til you put hand on it. We had one instance where it had trouble heating a frozen entree sooo we'll see.

Read all the reviews before buying. I agree the buttons could use back lighting but I only have trouble seeing the buttons at night if I do not turn on the main kitchen lights. Otherwise this is a good and quick microwave. I do miss my old one though because it had a re-heat button. This has no such general button though it has a list of items you can re-heat. Bottom line is this does the job, is a good size with a good size dish at a fair price.

Outside of box shows the control panel as very readable, but that is not the case, very little contrast of letter color to black background and small. Other reviewers noticed this issue. I bought unit on the way the control panel looked in picture on the outside of the box, very wrong. Also, door must be closed using the middle of the door to close or the top of the door remains slightly open not allowing unit to operate.

The microwave is stainless steel. Very sleek. The inside is a very nice grey and very large.

Bought this item as a gift for my daughter for Christmas. She likes it. It fits under her cabinets nicely. It's about the same size as her other one but much bigger inside. One complaint we have is that the buttons are very difficult to read. They don't light up. The letters/numbers font are on a black background with a glossy overlay. There is a terrible glare from the kitchen lights. Always struggle to read it.

I previously had a Panasonic which died after 3 years. Bought this with hesitation bc there wasn't a display model so I couldn't see inside. I read previous reviews on this product. I agree the buttons are a little hard to see if light isn't shining on the keypad. My favorite feature that I like is the gray interior to hide daily splatters between cleanings. The microwave is small but the curve inside makes it seem like there is plenty of room for large food. Good value for price. Now to see how long it lasts.

We needed a smaller microwave as we had limited counter space. This microwave works well & heats throughout. It only needs water to clean! The biggest drawback & limitation is that I have found no microwaves this size of any brand that the entire control panel lights up. This is important for people with limited vision & many elderly. I suggest all manufacturers consider this, especially as Baby Boomers age. Thank You!

My new LG microwave has re-kindled my interest in cooking as a recent bachelor. It's easy to operate. Has plenty of power. Fits perfectly on kitchen counter top.

Nice microwave but the keypad is hard to read. Like the rounded inside,easy to clean

A couple of points of interest. The interior light DOES come on whenever the door is open (not just while cooking), best part of that is if you leave the door open (for example to let steam escape), the light automatically goes out after a minute or so. There seemed to be a lot of complaints abt the control panel not being backlit and difficult to read/see; we have never even seen a panel that is backlit (guess we don't get out much), just the time/cooking display lights up and it is very visible. We are not that impressed w/the "sensor" cooking technology, which cooks based on the amt of steam coming from the item being cooked; it never seems to be quite enough time, so we just enter the desired amt of time vs. letting the m'wave figure it out (but this feature was NOT a must have, it was "just there"). While the "I'm done" beeper does continue to beep like every minute or so after it's done, that's kind of a neat feature in case you didn't hear the initial beep (for example, if you're outside flippin' steaks or in the basement folding clothes, you might not hear it, so a 2nd, or even 3rd chime is kind of nice). We weren't quite sure we'd like the stainless exterior (only the front is actually stainless, the top/sides are painted gray/silver), but it goes nicely w/the stainless fridge and yes... they both show fingerprints, but as grandparents, we've grown to appreciate those! Overall, we really like the m'wave and hope it lasts many, many years!

Well, I had a Sharp microwave for 22 years and it worked fine. At least, I thought it worked fine. It heated up everything really nice, although it was starting to look kind of old, because it was looking kind of beige, but it was white. So, late one night when I was trying to warm up a dinner it conked out on me. I was really upset, too. Somethings are just made to be cooked in the microwave and if you cook them in a conventional oven, it's just not the same. So, I got up the next day, headed over to Best Buy and looked for another Sharp microwave, but all of the microwaves Sharp had were too small. I wanted something big enough to fit a nice size dinner plate, you know. I looked at all of them. I really thought I should get a Sharp, because it did last 22 years, but LG is a brand that I've been noticing lately and they make great stuff! Love their washing machines and dryer's, their refrigerators, etc. So, I picked up this one and I love it! It's a little bigger than the one I had, but only by an inch or so, here and there. My kitchen is black and white, so I got a black LG. For some reason, I feel the food heats up much faster than my old one. Also, the turntable turns a little faster, but that's OK. I like the fact that it beeps twice if you don't get your food out right away and the light stays on after you open it. I've only had it a week, so I don't know a lot about it, yet. So far, I love it!.

This was our first choice of microwaves after shopping around at four other stores. We replaced our old dishwasher with a LG stainless steel model, so we were happy with the LG brand. This microwave is modern and sleek. However can't rate the performance, because when we brought it home we realized we had the room for the 2.0 cu ft model so we went back to Best Buy and replaced with the larger model.
