I purchased this microwave when my 12 yr. old Sharp died on me. I looked for a Sharp, but only model store had was bigger than I wanted. I decided on the LG...perfect size and the price was not bad. The microwave has worked like a charm since we got it last week....my only complaint is like the other reviewers.....the touch pad is very deceiving from the picture on the box to real life! The light gray print on the control panel is very hard to see. I considered the white model and it may have been a better choice, but wanted black. I did consider returning it and getting the white one, but I just didn't want to hassle with boxing it up and taking it back. I used my Dymo label maker and made number labels that we can actually see!

The power is more than adequate for use primarily to heat or re-heat foods or beverages. It is just the right size for heating most everything, even a whole medium size pizza. The only negative thing about it is that the number pad is not back-lit for operation in low light area.

I would give this a 5 star except for the touch pad. The box shows a easily read touch pad. It's not,in fact I use a small flashlight to read it,even in my well lit kitchen. I do like its size and performs great.

The LG microwave is good in what is is supposed to do. Heating fast, has good visibility of food while cooking and perfect size with a deep chamber and easy to clean. The only quirk is that the number buttons are pretty small and sometimes difficult to see.

Good looking appliance. Relatively compact size without compromising spaciousness of interior. Easy to clean inside back of oven. Control panel is very difficult to read. Letters & numbers too small and no type of lighting (or back-lighting) provided. Interior lighting is only fair.

Had to replace Whirlpool which simply did not last (which had replaced Panasonic which had lasted for years). This LG is a good size but still fits in cabinet. Controls are standard but hard to read. Seems to work well--heating evenly and quickly.

This unit is replacing a 1200 watt GE microwave which gave it's all recently. It does everything that my GE did and we are very happy with the purchase. It is an 1100 watt unit and we don't have to continually adjust the power setting as most of the commercial frozen product instructions are based on using an 1100 watt Microwave Unit. It is also very easy to keep clean.

I was so disappointed when we got this microwave home. The control panel is nearly impossible to see. In the store, the oven was displayed nearly eye level and under bright lighting. My kitchen is nicely lit but we cannot read the control buttons without stepping off to the side and getting eye level with it. This is the third microwave I've had in this exact spot in this kitchen with no problems reading the control buttons on the other two. I contacted LG to see if they could send me a new template and they said, "No. That's just the way that microwave is." My husband and I joke about putting a spotlight on it so we can read the controls. Other than that, it works beautifully and cleans easily inside and out.

LG countertop microwave has great features, looks great and performs very well.

Good looking microwave. Works well and relatively easy to operate. My only complaint is that there is a sticker on the top that is not really required to be there permanently. It detracts from its good looks. Otherwise I would have given it 5 stars.

very efficient performance, nice design and very spacious from inside

Purchased in a rush due to moving and surprised the new place didnt have one. Luckily this was on sale. Works as described in description. No complaints, very easy to operate. Looks great not an eyesore. Satisfied and worth the money.

A well designed microwave. Cooks and warms very well. Relatively quiet when running. Attractive aesthetics inside and out. One negative - The touchpad labeling is hard to read; should be backlit or have higher contrast lettering. Happy with this purchase.

This thing is a monster (size). Like some people said I wish that the panels did light up but it isn't all that important to me. The microwave works great, its huge and it is easy to clean. Very simple to put together the tray inside.

This is a good size and functionality microwave, ample interior space, easy to clean, attractive stainless steel look. Only gripe would be the dark color control panel, making it a bit difficult to make out the buttons.

Started with a small microwave. Wasn't sure a bigger one would fit in my space. Way too small. This one is almost double. Still fits in a small apartment but can handle large dishes and has plenty of power. Well worth the upgrade

I love the sensor cooking feature of this microwave. Just one touch and no need to worry. The microwave is spacious and it is easy to clean. It is worth for its price. Its design is elegant and goes with any appliance in anyone's kitchen.

I have this until for little over two months. Pros: I love the sensor cooking as it eliminates any guess work when it comes to cooking Rice. I also love the Time Cook feature, which allows me to control the cooking speed. EZ Cook feature allows me to increase cooking times in 30 sec segments with additional More and Less buttons to increase or decrease in 10 sec segments. Cons: The touch pad is not back light and hence impossible to use in low light. Also, on the first unit , a portion of the touch pad stopped working and hence had to have the unit replace.

First off getting the plastic off is no fun trip! Next the very hard to see let alone read control panel. Yes I read how bad it was, but it didn't look that bad in the store. Got it home and it is nonexistence. Might return it???
