So far so good only used a couple times . Waiting fir the hot part if summer then we will see. It cools off fast the direction of air is changed very little with the control vents. Fan speed seems not mu h of a change from e1 to e3 . More insulation needed for plastic wings that seal the gap., I used cardboard cut outs. I chose this one over the duel inverter ac because i feel the inverter ones shut down too soon when pumpin the ciold air this one keeps pumping cold air until you turn temp up. Not whisper quiet and it doesnt advertise that, just saying bit its not a loud nois box its in the medium hotel ac sounding range. Vynl window fram need a 2x4 on bottom. Install pretty easy

Great AC to keep my living quarters cool and comfortable. I had no issue installing the unit on my own. The only con I have is the fact the ac doesn’t stay on the same setting after you power it off, but it’s not a deal breaker. I love the sleek easy on the eyes design of the unit, which is a great plus. Hopefully I can get a good number of years of service from the unit before replacing.

A few parts were broken but nothing that would effect how it functions. It cools off about 2 larger rooms VERY well! I didn't realize when I started installing that some of the smaller pieces were messed up like someone already tried to install it and messed them up. We used things from around the house to make it work though.

This AC unit SLAMS. It cools our entire first floor with ease and powerfully. This is our third LG AC. The only thing is it's SUPER HEAVY. You need 2 or 3 people to move it and/or mount it. I worry that the weight of it could damage our vinyl windows. Right now I have it balanced on a couple of pieces of wood. When the fall comes, I will go to Home Depot to custom cut some longer pieces of wood that this heavy beast can sit on. Users BE CAREFUL. YOU NEED 2 OR 3 GUYS TO BALANCE THIS HEAVY BEAST OF A UNIT. YOU MUST CLOSE THE WINDOW SO THAT IT DOESN'T FALL OUT AND LAND ON SOMEONE. If that happens it could kill you if it lands on you. I WOULD STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU DON'T USE THIS ON A SECOND FLOOR. IT IS DIFFICULT TO MOUNT ON THE FIRST FLOOR. USING IT ON A SECOND FLOOR WILL REQUIRE A PROFESSIONAL THAT KNOWS WHAT THEYRE DOING. It requires tilting to drain water. Doing that on a second floor is impossible.

Cools a large area well. Much more efficient than my previous 12,000btu unit it replaced. I am happy it used a 120v plug. This unit is LARGE, but still fits a standard window. Theres just less play on the sides.

This unit is functioning very well in our 800 Square Foot above the garage apartment. The installation was easy. Our tenants are finding the unit easy to operate.

Keeps my whole apartment cool. Very quiet. My parents have had this model for years so it is one that will last a long time.

So far ok. Doesn't blow as hard as i would like,but does blow really cold. Make sure to read instructions first before installing. Makes it alot easier to install to window. Basically the housing comes off and installation way easier. Overall happy with purchase.

Not well made. The air conditioner was bent, the front wouldn't to o on. I normally buy LG but this air conditioner was not the quality expected.

Works good, quieter running compared to the unit I replaced. Have had good experience with LG products.

Ice cold and quiet best piece of equipment I bought

The item is an LG window unit and it works really well, I like that it comes with a remote. The fan could blow a little faster and it could come with more insulation for all the way around the window.

This thing works great! I needed a little extra boost to take some of the strain off of my central AC in this Texas heat and it helped a lot. I live in an older home that has trouble keeping cool in the summer and yesterday with my window unit running my house never got above 72 degrees so it was quite comfortable when the heat index was showing 110 degrees. My house is around 1200 sqft so I installed the unit in my living room (largest area) and it has made such a difference. I don't run it at night or in the mornings, only during the heat of the day.

I have had the opportunity to use the 12,000 BTU LG Window Air Conditioner recently and am happy with it's performance. Installation went well and I am hoping for future cooling in the summer heat.

1000% cooler in our living room. We had an older model LG but this one blows harder.

This air conditioner is loud and doesn’t really get cool enough for 14000 btu
