FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT BUY THIS AC ON BESTBUY!

Best buy refuse to send GeekSquad to hour house to pick up the AC. I have been a customer of BestBuy for many years and I really thought they are better than this. Do Not buy this AC here!

Buyer beware

It was used not quite one full season as I installed in mid June last summer. It had error codes and would shut down occasionally last summer. I’d unplug the unit, reset and restart the unit. This year it started out working ok. And then it became a daily issue, sometimes several times a day, to unplug the unit, reset and restart the unit. Until it stopped working and I could not restart it. The farthest I got with support was their first question. They asked if it was on a dedicated circuit just for that AC unit. And it was not. However, my old home was completely rewired in 2005. I’ve been using my old sharp window AC unit for years at this location and has never had an issue. I have never chipped a circuit at this location or anywhere in my house since my homeless rewired. Also, I have several unit to my home on different circuits. And I have never had a problem with any of them not functioning properly because none of them are on their own dedicated circuit. I realize that having a dedicated circuit for each window unit unit AC would be ideal. But since having this unit, I have never had an issue in 23 years in my home similar to this units issues w/ any other window AC unit. New or old. I am left to conclude that this unit is just not a good window AC unit. And I highly recommend avoiding this model.
