Nice unit for a smaller TV and room. Has decent sound for it's size. Since this was hooked into an LG TV it was able to use the optical audio feature that had the TV control the soundbar without the use of a 2nd remote. Very important for my mother in law !

It was given as a present, but i was told it works fine. Only reason for 4 stars was because it was delivered in the box that said LG sound bar, to my front porch. Luckily the area i live in is nice, and nobody stole it.

Certainly helps to hear better since the TV's now are so thin, their sound is very tinish.

Does what we needed it to do in boosting the TV sound so we can clearly hear movie dialogue which was being lost via TV speakers.

Price was right for a great sound. I am in a small area so I don’t have to have it loud! Love it!

Sound quality is perfect. Great replacement for my sound system that started to deteriorate from age.

Sound bar works OK I thought it would be easier to keep it paired with my LG TV but it keeps disconnecting and not working with my LG TV remote. It could be user error, but I feel like it should be a seamless experience considering the TV and sound bar are both LG products.

The sound bar was a great buy just the right amount of sound.

Connects to LG 4K TVs with Audio SYNC over optical cable and then one can use TV remote to control this. Very good sound far better than TV speakers. Music, Movies all sound great with decent bass.

When the speakers on my Sony TV failed, I purchased this sound bar. It works great, and saved me from purchasing a new TV.

It really does it job for the price. Better than i expected.

Bought this when I purchased a new Samsung 49" 8000 series HDTV. I live in a small, one-room guest house, don't need a lot of sound - but knew I'd want more sound than the single TV speaker would provide and didn't have a lot of budget to spend. All that said, this speaker was a disappointment - even at an $87 sale price. Sound was tinny & hollow. The TV speaker provided richer sound than this soundbar did. Returned item, and decided to keep looking. (There was a 29" Vizio soundbar on display that seemed to have richer sound with more depth, at least in-store. And was onsite for $25 less than this one! Think I will give that one a try.)

The remote has terminology that is not easy to understand. Bass Blast; DRC on/off.The document that comes with the package does little to explain it. There is a 20+ page download that helps but only a bit. And my rem,Oct has 3 right/left/stop arrow buttons that is explained nowhere. Very unfriendly. LG should totally redo this unit.

The point of our getting this sound bar was better sound than our TV - it's not. Upon setting up this unit and trying to operate the remote, there is NO INDICATOR anywhere to tell you what your settings are on! So you have no idea if the bass blaster setting for example, is on or off. As I said, MAJOR DESIGN FLAW. I would NOT buy this again.

It has good sound when you use it for TV or listening to music with BT for the price. However the BT function keeps cutting out even having the connected device right on it. When you turn the bar off when your not using it. It keeps turning on and off at random times. I was not happy with that so I took it back.
